Thomas continues to have a quirky personality that makes him seem slightly crazy and silly. As the movie progressed the audience started to learn that the stories that Thomas told were mostly exaggerations if not complete lies. The movie seems to look at storytelling as a blur of truth and lies. Thomas himself says at some point in the movie that he is looking for both truth and lies. This can be a metaphor for the oral tradition that was especially used in Native American cultures.
A director named Baz Luhrmann turned The Great Gatsby into a film. By casting the right actors to portray the characters, Luhrmann effectively recreated the book on screen. The movie opens differently than the book, with Nick in the office of a therapist. Although this differs from the book, it puts a twist on the movie. After the events Nick went through, it is understandable that he needs to talk about everything that happened.

El Internado, as I have explained to others when talking about the show, seems to take many cliché tropes and combine them into one show. However, I realized that did not take away from the value of the show. El Internado was not anything foreign to me, as many popular television shows in America are very dramatic by their very nature and center around high school, and one summer my grandmother got me hooked on a very dramatic soap opera. In addition, when I was younger, I used to watch a television show titled House of Anubis, which, while not quite the same, expressed the same themes of mystery, crime, and trouble with love. The drama itself is nothing new to me, but the level of the drama is.
It is common knowledge that first impressions often last even after an individual has been acquainted with said person for a long period of time (Austin 2015). Jane Austen’s novel, Pride and Prejudice, portrays a reoccurring sense of preconceived perceptions of various characters throughout the story, resulting in many misunderstandings among relationships between them. The main character, Elizabeth Bennet, mistakenly judges Fitzwilliam Darcy and George Wickham based on her prejudice and inaccurate conceptions. Darcy also misjudges and wrongly perceives one of the key characters, Elizabeth as an inferior rather than an equal, due to his arrogance and vanity. Hence, the fixed notions depicted in the beginning of the novel, mainly by Elizabeth and Darcy, influence the various relationships between characters prompting the progression of the storyline.
Tone, the general character or attitude the author has towards a piece of writing. The tone in “Harrison Bergeron” is represented, by the author, in a number of techniques that writers have in their arsenal such as, satire, irony, symbolism and diction. The author uses Satire many times thought this story to give us something to think about and ponder instead of giving us what we are supposed to think. For example; when he tells us about the ballerinas and how they are held down by weights and how a horrid mask covers their beauty, we are saddened and depressed by the fact that something so beautiful and wonderful has to be covered up and weighted down just for everyone to be normal and the same. In another part of the story we see that all news casters have severe speech impediments which makes see the absurdity of the normalcy that is forced on the criticizes of the country.
The readers of the play often have different opinions of who is to blame for Romeo and Juliet 's death. In the story, It 's Not My Fault: The No-Excuse Plan for Overcoming Life 's Obstacles, written by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, goes into detail about the action of blame. The story mentions, “We live in a culture of blame. People will blame anyone or anything for their misery sooner than take the responsibility to own it and make it better." What this quote is explaining is that, when a person is going through a hard time in life, blame of other people is typically their reaction.
The plot was perhaps the most difficult part of the play to understand. I had an issue with the ending because Quixote appeared like a dues ex machina and left with Kilroy. After reading the play, I was left questioning what I had read. Similar to Waiting for Godot, I was left with more questions than answers after reading the play. Something that I noticed is that intertextuality is heavily present in the play.
Orson Welles is held in the minds of many as a notable film director and actor, but his work in other modes of storytelling is often overlooked. I intend in this paper to analyze one of those overlooked works, the play he authored and produced in London Moby Dick—Rehearsed, adapted from the novel. It is my intention to demonstrate that this work subscribes to what we may call Welles’s philosophy of storytelling in order to encompass his film, theatre, and radio works—he frames the story of the novel in a way that is consistent with his other works, he himself plays and “transfigures” the role of the “king,” and he parodies the genre of theatre itself. In 1944, Tennessee Williams shaped the way of theatre by creating his own original genre. With his script of The Glass Menagerie, Williams was able to create a memory play: the first of its kind. WIlliams’ creation offered a new experience of a man, Tom, reminiscing on his past. While Tom was present for most of the memories, some events did not involve Tom, so he had to imagine what was actually happening during that time. This style of play allows readers and viewers to see true memories, but there also might be some warped perceptions.
Firstly the script is being changed by the aging diva Helen Sinclair, who wants her role to have more influence, character and screentime and slowly manipulates Shane by seduction. Eventually the script is majorly changed by the Olive 's bodyguard, Cheech, who claims that the play is rubbish. He turns out to be quite apt at playwriting and the final script is something else than what it started. There is no final director, because the script underwent so many changes that the original notes almost do not exist, and the major changes that Cheech introduced become almost a new script. It does not prevent Shane from claiming the success.

This indicates that Mr. Wolff’s stories are being interpreted the way he envisioned due to his use of characters throughout some of his writings and publications.
