Bear Bryant
Paul William “Bear” Bryant is considered to be one of the greatest and most successful football coaches in the history of the sport. Bryant coached at many different colleges including Maryland, Kentucky, and Texas A & M, but he felt at home at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (Puma). Bryant served as head football coach of Alabama’s “Crimson Tide” for almost 25 years leading the team to a 193-32-5 record in the 1960s and 70’s and six national championships (Puma). He was elected into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1986 (Bio). Many people refer to Bear Bryant as “simply the best there ever was” (Puma). On September 11, 1913, Paul Bryant was born and became the 8th of 9 surviving children (three died at birth) to Monroe and Ida Bryant (Arkansas). The Crimson Tide went 5-4-1 the first season with Bryant as head coach (World Biography). The next year, Bryant led his team to the Liberty Bowl which started a streak of 24 consecutive bowl games (World Biography). In the 1960s, Alabama went on to win three national championships in ‘61, ‘64, and ‘65 (Puma). In 1962, an article was written against Bryant saying that he “promoted unsportsmanlike conduct” against Georgia Tech when an Alabama player broke a Georgia Tech player’s jaw (World Biography). Bryant was then attacked again by an article saying that Bryant had rigged a game in where Alabama beat Georgia 35-0 (World Biography). Also during this time, Bryant received his famous houndstooth hat from the owner of the New York Jets when trying to recruit one of Bryant’s players for the American Football League (AFL) (Lettermen). After the 1969 season, Bryant was offered a position as head coach for the Miami Dolphins but he declined the offer and stayed at Alabama
“It taught me the meaning of hard work” as Jerry rice said. Jerry rice found that out because he was grateful because his dad worked hard. Jerry rice was born October 13 1962. He played 20 seasons in the NFL. Jerry rice is a positive influence on me because he worked hard on doing what he loved doing.
The first setting is Florence, Kentucky where he grew up and played high school football. The next setting is in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where he played college football for the crimson tide. The last setting in this book is placed in Seattle,Washington where he played professional football for the seattle seahawks and had a various amount of achievements.
There is only one king of the bow hunting industry, and his name is Fred Bear. Fred Bear is the creator and owner of Bear Archery. (Avery) Not only is he the owner of Bear Archery, he is known as one of the best bow hunters to ever live due to facts including that he is a five-time world record holder on archery wild game harvests and has won many awards due to his outdoorsman skills. Bryant was born on 9thof September in the year of 1970 which makes her current age 47. She attended Hampton University, a historically black college for graduation. Her father, Curtis Graves is a Texas representative in the house and her mother is Joanne Graves. She was born and raised in a very powerful and well-known Washington D.C. family.
The leader I chose is Paul “Bear” Bryant. He was an American College football player and coach. Paul was best known for being longtime head coach for the University of Alabama football team. He was born in Moro Bottom, Arkansas and attended Fordyce High School, then went on to attend college at the University of Alabama. After graduating from the University of Alabama, he was offered a job as an assistant coach there and went on to coach the University of Alabama football for 4 years.
Jaxon Culwell Ms. Luman Barry Switzer 11-16-2016 Barry Switzer Barry Switzer is one of the most successful college football coaches of all time. Switzer won multiple national championships in his era in Oklahoma. After his legacy in Oklahoma, he went on to coach the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. In the NFL, Switzer won only one Super Bowl.
Elite College Coaches Dabo Swinney, one of the greatest coaches in the NCAA League. Dabo played for Alabama back in 1989 and won a National Championship when he was at Alabama, along with two South Eastern Conference Championships. Nick Saban, also one of the best coaches in the league especially when you look at his stats and what he has accomplished in the past few years. Although, Dabo is not too far behind him on what he has been able to accomplish. Dabo, defeating 6 coaches in one year that had all one National Championships before.

I never knew that back then college football teams were competing against the army. It was interesting to see that those game were common and usually in favor of the army with the reputation that it has of being strong. Now just as coach Warner was able to discover Jim Thorpe one of the greatest athlete to have existed, Rockne discover George Gipp. The Gipper was a nobody and Rockne saw his talent and made him a star is known by many back then, but now he is not known and with that another athlete lost in history. I had heard the saying “win one for the Gipper”, but I never understood it and where it came from.
Nick Saban has been a collegiate and pro NFL coach for the Miami Dolphins. So far at Alabama Nick Saban has the most win and the highest paid coach in school history with a record of 101-18 (.849). All I can say is ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!! When Nick Saban took over as Alabama’s football head coach he elevated a great program to an unstoppable force Alabama has been unable to beat since Saban been in the system as the coach making it to the SEC Championship every year in the college Championship for everyone and most of the time Alabama coming back with the SEC and the whole Championship. Saban made a big change and that record in that program of Alabama Crimson Tide.
Kobe Bryant was born in 1978 in Philadelphia. His parents were Joe and Pamela Bryant. Joe Bryant was a former NBA player. Kobe had two older sisters. At the age of 6 Kobe’s family moved to Italy.

Due to his astonishing, yet unforeseen athletic abilities, Forrest Gump is offered a prestige college football scholarship, and becomes a Consensus All-American.
