Ever since grade school, I was passionate about working in the field of medicine, and science. I enjoyed anatomy, medical spelling and terminology, and reading about the healthcare industry. Because of my passion for healthcare, I decided to to attend Health Sciences High. There, I was given the best opportunities, such as, medical internships and college health courses. My plans and goals had turned me into a mature young adult. Now that I have my mind set on my aspirations, I hope to practice the qualities needed to be a triumphant dentist and dental surgeon. Of course everyone wants success, wealth, and happiness in the future. My long term goal is to pursue a career in the field of dentistry and earn my DDS (doctorate in dental surgery)
The question my mom would always ask me is,”What do you want to be when you grow up.” I really never have an answer to that kind of question. I always think do I want to be a special agent or a NFL player. But instead I chose a random career, but I did use to like the career. The career I had chosen to be when I get out school is to be a carpenter because I liked this job since I was little, and to earn a good living in my future. I think I can pursue my goal of being an NFL athlete, but if I can’t get there I’ll have a good backup job. I chose this career because I like to reconstruct models and build from any material, and I like to work with my hands. I like to use the different types of machines they have. I liked this job since I was little
Wayfinding is an art of navigation, practiced by polynesians and involves being observant of the surroundings around you. I realized Wayfinding is more about the journey, not the destination; just like life. Depending on your destination the harder it is to achieve, the greater the voyage will be. For example, traveling from Hawaii to Oahu can be compared to only aspiring to be a random co-worker in some unknown company. Unlike a voyage from Hawaii to Tahiti which can be compared to aspiring to be the President of the United States or an Astronaut in NASA. Those aspirations are much more far-reaching and the journey will be much more strenuous and difficult. A voyage to Oahu would be short, with most likely fair weather the entire journey. Just like life, it won 't take much to reach your goals if your aspirations are low. The more successful you want to be, the harder your journey will be.
Becoming an orthopedic surgeon is not my only long term goal, but to also open a dog rescue program for stray or hurt dogs. My very first dog was when I was five years old and it was a baby female chihuahua that my dad had adopted and I decided

Many of the participants expressed their desire to persist in continuing their education at some point in their future. Several of the participants expressed their feelings by setting examples for their children that no matter what their circumstance may be, they must persist in completing their education. Participant one, Anna, stated, “ It is very important to me to persist and go back to college because, without an education, I am stuck in a negative place. I feel like a hamster running around a wheel. That is why it is so important for me to get out of this circle. Also, I must say that my faith in God is the only thing I can think of, and I have a goal and in that goal is what I am trying to reach. My faith in God is what will help me take each step to get
My personal goal is simply to be successful, and I don't mean money but to be happy with myself and what I have been able to accomplish. Whatever I choose to do I simply want to enjoy it, to be good at it, and to continue bettering myself. Becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is my goal and I know in some few years to come I would have a Phd degree in nursing. I would like to help, be a huge part and play a role of success in the nursing field. Working for a major children's hospital has always been my dream and making a difference within the hospital would be my ideal goal of professional success. I also want to be self-disciplined and proportion my time very well since all these would make me a better person and be the best in my professional
Life has its twists and turns, but my overall life goal is simple, help others. I want to make an impact on others life, even if it is a small change. For instance, being able to hold a pencil is the difference between a student being able to graduate from Kindergarten and not be able to continue on to first grade. Being a Pediatric occupational therapist will help me make an impact on children at a very young age. Even small changes can have a large impacts, which is why I want to be that change for others. My goal is small but will hopefully have a large and beneficial impact on myself along with others.
When I read The Lord of the Rings I remember a quote that sums up my current educational journey, “Home is behind, the world ahead, and there are many paths to tread through shadows to the edge of night, until the stars are all alright.” In high school I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going with life. As a kid I had dreams of being a Jedi when I grew up, and the next Indiana Jones, or an actor. I could do and be anything I wanted, and it was not an impossible thought since I had taken an interest in doing activities around these different subjects. I was even learning the piano and violin and I still play to this day. Sadly, I could not do it all and in high school I became very anxious about myself and what I was going to do. It got worse when I was being bullied in high school nonstop by students and a few teachers.
Interest has many meanings in everyday usage (Benedict, 2001; Savickas, 1999; Spacks, 1995), many of them too vague. There are many meanings of interest that are used in our everyday lives. When someone talks of a thing they like, they’re interested in it. Interesting can also be used as sarcasm when someone is bored of the topic at hand or it could be used as a word you say when you don’t know what else to say and was trying to be polite. Moreover, interest is also used when a person wants or cares about something—for example, “I’m not interested in doing nothing today”—which meant that the person wants to do something productive for the day. Interest is also a synonym for liking something, being curious about something and giving it utmost importance and attention. The word interest is also used in economics, but that is a different altogether.

What do you want your future job to be? I want to specialize in sports medicine. There are multiple reasons I want to be a sports medicine doctor. The three reasons are I love sports, the job is interesting to me, and I want to provide for my family. Sports medicine is definitely the career for me. Having a personal plan for the future helps us in having a clear path to follow toward achieving our goals. Regarding this, I have written the goals that I want them to be achieved after graduating from the college. To write my goals, I have brainstormed my thoughts about my interest areas which helped me on deciding which goals I want to achieve.
I have chosen Biology as my major of choice because of my interest in biology classes in the past. Throughout my high school career, I have tried taking a wide variety of classes in order to truly understand what my passion is. After taking a wide variety of classes, I discovered that I was deeply intrigued by subjects involving biology and medicine. I am looking to go to school as a biology major, however, I think I would like to further my education in medical school so that I can pursue a career in medicine. In my family, there is a multitude of people currently working in the medical field including my parents. After seeing their abilities, and thereafter my brother, I soon began to develop an interest as well. After developing this interest, I signed up for volunteering at my local hospital. Volunteering has been a great experience. I am able to come into contact with people and places that I never would have been able to had I not started volunteering.
As an 18 year old there are many different things in my life that I would like to transform I know there are many things out there that you could do to transform your life. Many things that I am going to do myself to transform into a better person. I don’t care about being the prettiest, smartest, or the person that has the most money. I do want to work to have the money that I get. I like to earn things that I get, I don’t like to have things given to me. I don’t like to have to fall back on someone else. I want to be more independent and be someone that other people can come to when they need help. I don’t want to be the one running to other people for help. Working even harder than what I do, could be another huge part of transforming
