The various activities required to complete the Administrative Field Experience has made me competent in this field of study. I am confident that the material that I have learned and the activities that I have participated in will allow me to enter an assistant principal role with knowledge and skill to take on the duties, responsibilities, and challenges of an assistant principal. The greatest strength that I will take into the role is my ability to help others. I have a strong belief that my job is fulfilled when and only when I can share my ideas with teachers so they can too perfect their craft. Therefore, I feel that I would be an exceptional instructional leader to the teachers in the building.
With the resources that would be provided to me by being a Schulich leader, I would be able to help others to the maximum of my abilities. I am hard working and take joy in helping others. This allows me to inspire people to also help others. My Academic Track Records, my financial need, and my extensive community involvement all make me a great Schulich Leader.
I also hope to teach my students moral values and encourage them to become informed, intelligent, and compassionate learners. I plan to apply a combination of educational theories and my own experiences to my classroom in order to manage my classroom efficiently and effectively. My goal as an elementary teacher will be to be committed to the success of every learner and to create a successful learning environment for all students. Teacher’s Assistant:
They must use the influence of their leadership constructively and productively in the service of all students and their families. A leader guides activities as a role model, consider personal and professional values, as well as demonstrate a personal and professional code of ethics. They treat people fairly with dignity and respect. Legal and contractual obligations must be filled and laws and procedures should be applied fairly, wisely, and considerately. A key role in educational leadership is to create an atmosphere that everyone wants to be a part of.
The challenging moments only make you strive more and more to be creative and find a solution in order to engage the children. I also believe that I have gained confidence in my leadership ability and my understanding for different methods of teaching and learning in order to tap into a child's unique ability to learn. The role of a teacher is incredibly diverse and that role must be willing to adapt to the situation and circumstances. As a teacher one of the main roles must be to successfully motivate learners in a safe environment whilst also adhering to regulations in place. It is also more important than ever for teachers to promote diversity and equality in the classroom.
I will teach to diverse cultures and communities to which my students belong. I will ensure that each student is included in my future classroom and is able to reach their fullest potential. I believe in learning who my students and individually setting higher standards for each will allow them to be successful in school and later in life. Servant and Authentic leadership have several characteristic comparisons. Both servant and authentic leadership styles are positive leadership styles. Servant and authentic leaders serve other individuals. They both believe in empowering the employees they serve. The leadership styles possess a high standard of values, displays compassion and passion for integrity to their followers.
The positive personal and relational characteristics are most important factor which helps to identifying a servant leader. “an ethic of service” which influences a great leader. Most of the leaders that they may have an intensity or passion for their work.
