My mom found her on the street about five years ago and when nobody claimed her, she became a part of our family. Having her in my life has motivated me to learn the Spanish language and learn more about Mexico. Five handlers and six dogs, all German Shepherds, started a service legacy that would grow to over 24,000 registered dog/handler teams in just 34 years. From then on, many dogs are still being used to help and assist many citizens in our

My great-grandfather, was a hero because he fought in world war 2, after many other hardships in his life.
In modern society, more and more people keep pets as their family members, they enjoy the happiness brought by their pets and take good care of them, many people believe that pets are the indispensable parts of their lives, but they only notice the positive aspect of keeping pets. Herzog mentions the investigation data that “in a typical year, 4.5 million Americans are bitten by dogs, and two dozen people, mostly children, are killed by them”(Herzog 246). Since many people think dogs are the best companions in their lives, the group of dog-keepers is growing steadily. However, dogs are the main late-night noise resources, and there are also many people afraid of dogs. They disturb people’s normal life and bring fear to the society.
Volunteering Skills Helen Keller once said, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or ever touched - they must be felt with the heart.” I have volunteered at the Pleasant Hill Lions Club for six years. My parents are members of the Lions Club so I usually help them with as many events as possible. I help them with the Soup Supper, Fishing Derby, the parade in Pleasant Hill, and I volunteer for other stuff outside of Lions Club like the Special Olympics or Meals from the Heartland.

Career Narrative: Psychiatrist When it comes to the work force, we have many choices of what we can do, but, it is up to us to figure out what we want to do for the rest of our lives. My career goal is to become an Adult Psychiatrist, I want to be an Adult Psychiatrist because I would like to help people who cannot help themselves. I believe I would be a good fit for this position because I feel I that I have quite a few of the characteristics necessary to help people who need it the most. I would work to get the patient back into the world and to be a fully-functioning member of society. I would likely work at a psychiatric hospital because the people there would need the help the most, due to either being forced to be there, or they are
I just completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and look forward to exploring nursing theory, evidence-based practice and leadership even further in the advance practice curriculum. I am pursuing family nurse practitioner because it will allow me to be more versatile in my nursing skills and serve a larger patient population. There has been a focus on primary care medicine since the Affordable Care Act; resulting in a larger need for nurse practitioners required to care for this patient population. I have been granted an opportunity to advance my career and I am more than ready to take on the added responsibilities and handle treatment plans autonomously, as well as learning additional skills such as diagnosing and prescribing medications. By obtaining my graduate level education my clinical judgment would be enhanced to improve safety, quality of care and patient outcomes substantially.
Orthodontist There are many careers to choose from, especially from the medical field. I am interested in being an orthodontist, because i find it intriguing how they align crooked teeth, fix overbite and underbite or overcrowding. A orthodontist is a dentist who focuses on straightening crooked teeth and how jaws and teeth are aligned. Orthodontist usually work with kids that are over 10 years old. Orthodontist usually examine patients most of their day so it is essential that they have good communication skills and it's preferable that they have a good relationship with their patients since the patient has to be checked out every month.
