Before I came to the United States of America, I had some different ideas about the culture and the people. Some of the main differences that I had was the opportunities, the people behavior and the language. This differences complete change when I saw the reality of this country. Before I came to this country I believe that in this country every thing was given to you, the school, work, and any need that you could need. USA is a bless country with easer to attend schools, but is not given to you, you have to put a lot of time and effort to just get in. Work in here is obtainable but easer to obtainable how I believe before, just getting a job is a job itself. The needs here to some level are ease to achieve but luxuries are hard to obtain.
Today I will be talking about the first time I came to America and how it has changed my life. When I was five years old, I started first grade in Turkey. I was afraid because my parents signed me up late and I thought I wouldn’t be able to make friends. Both my parents came with me for the first day of school and I made them wait outside of my classroom because they couldn’t come inside the classroom. The first time I entered class, all the kids were with their friends and the teacher had assigned me in between two girls.
People from all over the world came to the US for many reasons, and with them came their culture. The US is considered today as a place where, for the most part, all people and cultures are accepted. This can all be traced back to the immigrants that came to the US in the late 1800s. These people brought their customs and traditions to the US and allowed the people to really experience how other people around the world live. Foods, religions, governments, and ideals are just some of the many thing immigrants brought to the US that overall made the US a much more complex country.
The United States Of America is the greatest country ever to touch the planet earth. The only why our nation is like this is because the people living in it all have the American dream to make the world a better place for everyone to live
Land of the free and home of the brave. America is a country that is known for its freedom worldwide. Many abandoned their own country in order to try and live a perfect life in America, where they will not be discriminated against no matter what nationality, sex or religion an individual is. America was not always this promising to minorities mid 1800’s. America had huge faults such as slavery which later was one of the reasons the north and south separated and went to war with each other.
This country is great for many reason, despite its hardships. One of the many reasons is that we have freedom to chose, freedom of religion, and freedom of speech. We are also a melting pot for many different ethnicity. Being an American is about the freedom we here enjoy. We are full of different ethnicity and cultures.
1. In contrary to other renaissance writer, Shakespeare writings portrayed women 's as equals to men. 2. The reality of life in America for immigrants to the believes that America is a place of freedom and right to pursue every dream.
Together we can change for the better. America is a country with many strong qualities. Although America is looked up to by countless countries, and idolized by outsiders looking in, for most of citizens that is not the case. We are a free country with many qualities still held from our founding fathers that were laid out
“ When I came to American in 1978, I was stunned—and exhilarated – to find out that I could walk into any library and check out books that were uncensored and read them without fear of being harassed, thrown in jail or killed “ ( Mathabane, Pg. 29). This shows he lost his freedom in Africa and in America he found the peace and ability to read anything without it being censored or fear that he would go to jail. When I read that it made me appreciate the freedom I do have, being able to go to school, read what I want at any time. This is a great pleasure to have and now I appreciate it more. People do not realized that yes America has its issues but look at South Africa they are limited to what they can do and they live below the poverty line.
My mom came to the United States with no money to her name. She came here in search for a better life. No one helped her, she did it all on her own. Not speaking the language or being educated it wasn 't easy raising a child in a place which is so unknown to you
.America is the land of opportunity to many individuals. It gives people a chance to become who they really desire to be. That idea though, is not always true. What sometimes occurs is that people who want to become a true American make themselves believe that the only way to do so is by becoming powerful and losing the morals that they were taught. What has been ingrained in much of society is that if one does not do one of those things they are lesser than the ones who do.
As a teenager moving to a new country with a different culture, different language, and being thousands of miles away from everyone I grew up with was not an easy change, however, that was precisely what I did in January of 2013 when I came to the United States with my father. My whole world changed since, and shaped my way of thinking. From learning English, adjusting to a new culture, experiencing my first snow and finding my way in my new country, my life has been an exciting adventure. My parents brought me to America almost 5 years ago to have a better life, and to get a better education.
Dear fellow nasty women and bad hombres, America is one the greatest experiments in freedom and liberty history has ever known. We are a nation that was built on the minds and ideals of immigrants. Our Founding Fathers created America so that everyone could have a chance at "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Those are aspects of my country, I would never change because they are what make us unique. The glow of America casts a ripple of hope upon those who struggle.
America is the place that seems to give opportunities and equal changes to all. They have more freedom than others (but not total freedom). America is a united people working together. I believe America is a place where all people have a chance to succeed in life. I also believe that in America people have the freedom to stand up for their beliefs and fight for them.
The U.S. has a very good education system and it can help people become anything they want to be in life, which is why immigrants want their
Our society is battling with disintegration, and disintegration is winning. Primarily, other countries are advanced/advancing in areas like education. Countries like Finland, Australia, Iceland, and Singapore have the highest education, while America is ranked average. Schools subjects in those countries would probably be considered much harder for students living in the United States. As for me, I grew up going to school in West Africa, but after coming
