How to be a good Student Being a good student has many perspectives. One becomes a good student by keeping priorities, managing time, staying organized, paying attention, asking questions, studying, and staying positive. It can be hard work being a good student, but in the long run, it will help to succeed after high school in anything that he or she does. These skills can help in any part of his or her life from elementary school to a career. Good students go above and beyond expectations. One must be able to balance time in a reasonable manner. Getting homework done and doing a good job can be challenging if one does not manage his or her time wisely. Keeping a constant schedule each week can aid in getting better grades. Completing homework and projects on time contribute to one’s grades throughout the school year. Organization skills help both during school years and after. If one is not organized then there is a possibility that assignments get lost and that could affect one 's grade. Staying organized can be very easy, for example color coding notebooks to the folders can help to keep each class separate with notes and assignments. Another way of staying organized could be as simple as keeping a planner with all of the assignments that must be completed along with the due date. Paying attention to the teacher plays a key factor in staying focused. Testing will be harder, even simple assignments will be harder if one is not paying attention or following directions.
