How to be a good Student Being a good student has many perspectives. One becomes a good student by keeping priorities, managing time, staying organized, paying attention, asking questions, studying, and staying positive. It can be hard work being a good student, but in the long run, it will help to succeed after high school in anything that he or she does. These skills can help in any part of his or her life from elementary school to a career. Good students go above and beyond expectations. Priorities must be kept in mind for someone who is trying to succeed. Each person has a different set of priorities. For some that would include their homework, grades, sports, or a job. One must be able to balance time in a reasonable manner. Getting homework done and doing a good job can be challenging if one does not manage his or her time wisely. Keeping a constant schedule each week can aid in getting better grades. Completing homework and projects on time contribute to one’s grades throughout the school year. Organization skills help both during school years and after. If one is not organized then there is a possibility that assignments get lost and that could affect one 's grade. Staying organized can be very easy, for example color coding notebooks to the folders can help to keep each class separate with notes and assignments. Another way of staying organized could be as simple as keeping a planner with all of the assignments that must be completed along with the due date. Paying attention to the teacher plays a key factor in staying focused. Testing will be harder, even simple assignments will be harder if one is not paying attention or following directions. Maintaining good grades is very important to me. I study a couple of nights a week for quizzes and tests. If you don’t have decent grades you won’t get into college. Even now in high school you won’t be able to precipitate in clubs like NHS if you don’t maintain a certain average. Like I said if you want to further your education after high school good grades now are a key factor.
On those days at school I know that I have to get most of my homework done there because I know that I won’t have enough time when I get home from school to do it before I leave for practice. Also time management has helped me with school work in general. During study hall I know what work I have to do and how much time I need to spend on it so I know that I’ll also have time to do my other work that I may have to do that day.
Time management has been one of the most substantial hurdles of my scholastic and professional career. Many of us waste our time on things that are neither important nor necessary, instead of using that time for something of that is meaningful. To capitalize on the use of time management strategies and reach my Doctoral Business Administration (DBA) program goals. I will execute two specific time management strategies, for example, accessing and planning a weekly schedule while adjusting my daily schedule. Time management will help me maximize the use of my time and reach my ultimate DBA goals of completing each assignment.
I have always put my grades before anything else and it is imperative for me to always get my work done before anything. Given the past couple years, I have blossomed into an organized student while maintaining my 3.5 GPA. Despite hardships, I have always made the effort to get into focus, strap my armor on, and complete all my work. For many scholars, getting done what you need is almost a gift to oneself. Once you achieve your goals, you feel rewarded and even fulfilled.
Writing process is difficult to realize since it requires a lot of skills and knowledge. Definitely, not many of us can start writhing right away without having any problems such as grammar, vocabulary or organization. However, a person can become a better writer if he or she will practice writing every day and will pay attention to his writing problems. To become a good writer, I have to improve my grammar, follow specific steps in writing process, and avoid using similar transitional words. Grammar is the number one problem in the writing process and causes me a lot of issues.

Career Goal I have a few career goals such as becoming an ER registered nurse and a nurse practitioner but fist I want to be an ER registered nurse. For a long time now I could just envision myself in the blue scrub running out to the ambulance as the EMT rushed the patient into the hospital. And successfully collaborating with a team of people to save someone's life.

The key factor in effective time management is usually accuracy because when you have accurate model of reality you are in a position to determine which task is more important than other. You can only realize the real gains in time management at the top but not at the bottom. Inaccurate understanding of reality can make your missions, goals and your projects to be meaningless
Time management is important to have because it helps get work done more efficiently and is a way to manage your priorities. Priorities along with making commitments are also learned from participating in a extra activity. Students learn how to prioritize their work when in activities while also finding a balance of everything else going on in their life; commitment is also learned but showing that a student needs to be 100% involved to put in their best effort to whatever they choose to do and to be be successful doing it. “Various research studies have lined participation in student activities to higher math and english grades, improved grades and homework completion, better performance on math, reading and science test, and an increased likelihood of applying to college” (Annemarie Mannion).
Academic success to me is achieving good grades and understanding the material to get good grades. Academic success also means to have an good attendance. I already get mostly A’s and B’s, but I am not good at staying on top of things. To improve my academic success I will attend class more often, be more organized, pay attention in class, and not procrastinate.
Additionally, by building good time management skills kids will be able to manage their amount of homework well, and still have time to have fun. Overall, by doing your homework it will help with most of your life
Time management: Time management is a very crucial component if you are willing to have a productive lifestyle. To be honest, I have always had issues with managing my time efficiently. This problem had become a huge obstacle once I got into college. Thus, attending a lecture that focuses on time management helped me a lot with this problem by introducing me to different aspects related to time management: planning, SMART goals, and important/urgent matrix. Learning to make a specific plan for my daily tasks and make a to-do list to make my day as productive as possible is something very helpful which was advised to me by the instructor of this lecture Mr. Irfan.
