I am looking forward to the second half of the semester. I am striving to be the best student I can be and making the best out of these four years so that I can be the best candidate in the application pool when applying for jobs. Success and failure are part of the learning experience, but at the end of the day, they have been learning
To learn what I want to in this class, I will have to do all of my work to my best abilities. I will ask as many questions as I can if I don’t understand what we are learning. If I ask questions to the teacher, their role should be to explain it well to what I have a questions on. Also to check on me every once and awhile to make sure I am doing the right thing. After reading through this again, I hope to learn all of the things I have problems with.
The one thing I want to ensure that I do to stay motivated is planning my weeks out in advance by using my planner. Referring back to my pride, I do not like to be late on assignments or tests. I plan on taking my time when I read over my course work that way I focus better on it and I am able to retain more of it when I am done because, as I said earlier, I love learning new things! Another thing I plan on doing to keep me motivated is joining the SNHU Peer Leader program as soon as I am eligible. I niticed a posting on my SNHU hope page and I delved into the program to learn more.
All my life I had always loved to help others and set an example. I believe that community service through the program National Honor Society, has greatly impacted my life by showing me how I can put my underlying motivation and cast a full fire of passion. I have always loved to teach and motivate others to try their hardest in school to achieve something above of their expectations. From my love of teaching, tutoring and trying to help understand in "student talk" has always been a strong point to show how rewording something can greatly impact a student's understanding which is all worthwhile. I always make sure to keep my grades up and dedicate time to studying and persevering which has influenced others around me to follow my path to achievement.
Today I’ll be addressing the argument between changing to a four-day school week from a five-day school week. In my own hoenest opinion I would rather change and have a four day school week. This is because I believe I do better in school when we have that extra day off. I am well rested and feel less stressed because I have more than enough time to get my work done. But I know that there are some cons to having a four day school week.
I wish to attend the GERI Summer Residential for multiple reasons, including the experience I will earn in my area of interest, the challenge I will receive, the relationships I will make, and information I will learn. I have always been interested in taking all opportunities I can to separate myself from everyone else. I wish to achieve and be the best person I can be academically. Foremost, I work extremely hard in class maintaining a solid GPA of 4.0. My high school courses consist of advanced placement courses and courses that are geared towards my interests.
I have taken responsibility for what I have done in the past and are pushing myself to work harder to reach all my goals to make me a better person within society. I have faced many challenges as well as setbacks this past year, but I have and I know I can find a way to manage my time to reach my full potential. I find myself juggling school and my full course load, club volleyball, work and making my car payments, getting a decent amount of sleep and having a social life. I do admit it can be overwhelming at times but I know it will be worth it when I am able to tackle my dreams and make them a
I am hard working. I am dedicated. I think the Honors Program can offer me the challenge I enjoy to keep my mind stimulated, as well as giving me and opportunity to show that I am willing to work harder and dedicated. I am currently enrolled as a student, completing my general education requirements, in the hopes of being accepted in to the Mortuary Science Program. I believe that the Honors Program can also help me stand out from other potential candidates applying to the program.
Naledi’s mission statement 1. My mission statement for myself is a topic that is personal and not academic because I vision that in the future, once I have succeed and accomplished what it is I have planned out to do. My long term goal is to hopefully open a Non-government Organisation where I will be able to help others, whether I help them recover from disasters or help them financially, or I can volunteer towards an NGO. By helping others it will enable me to be considerate and compassionate to those who are less fortunate. My short term goals would be to successfully complete the required 96 hours that the school requests we do by volunteering to the community.
First, as a student my academic goal is to continue to do my best in all of my courses and receive a perfect grade point average. Next, I strive to become more active on campus. I am currently a member of the Pre-Law Society and National Society of Leadership and Success, in these organizations I plan to grow as a person strengthening my leadership skills and being able to meet other students who have similar interest. Furthermore, my goal is to balance work and my college classes effectively. I am a full-time student and work full time, and with a busy schedule it is sometimes difficult to manage my time.
