Health Benefits of Cauliflower
Cauliflower is from the cruciferous vegetable, the family of Brasicaceae, and the likes of Broccoli, cabbage, and kale. Cauliflower is a native to the ancient Asia and Mediterranean, Italy and Turkey. It later became well known in countries like France and Northern Europe. Many countries now grows it like America, China, including India.
Cauliflower is very rich in folate, Vitamins B complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, phosphorous, iron and other essential nutrients. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids, protein, fiber, a small amount of sugar, unsaturated fats and photochemicals. Cauliflower can be added to meals and this will help in adjusting certain lifestyle like weight loss.

Types of Cauliflower
There are four distinct types of cauliflower, which are: Northern European biennials, Northern European annuals, Italian and Asia respectively. It also comes in varieties of colors.
