Training aims to contribute existing knowledge, particularly in the area of capacity development. Training and development is one aspect of human resource practices that will help improve employees' skills, knowledge, performance, organizational competitiveness and improves the ability of employees to implement task or job more effectively.
Technology-based learning (TBL) is defined as the content learning via all electronic technologies including Internet, intranet, satellite radio, video and audio conferencing, Internet conferencing, chat rooms, webcasts, computer-based instructions and CD-ROM (ASTD, 2005). TBL also includes related terms such as online learning and web-based learning that only include learning that occurs through the Internet, as well as computer-based learning using computer learning. E-learning is synonymous with TBL and largely replaced its terms in scholarships and industry as a choice. As a result, reports are used interchangeably with these terms.
