Vegetarian Diet “Humans can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if humans eat meat, they participate in taking life of animals merely for the sake of their appetite. And to act so is immoral.”(Leo Tolstoy). Animals do feel pain as much as humans when slaughtered or hunted. On the other hand, human beings are not designed to eat meat, humans are natural herbivores, and they thrive best when they eat only plants. Although humans eat meat to maintain better nutrition, but the human body cannot digest meat, and human teeth are small and blunt. They are not designed to perfectly chew meat. Human beings should not eat meat in order to maintain good health, they can have better health and better environment by consuming vegetarian foods.
To being with, being vegetarian and having vegetarian diet helps our health and prevent most of the diseases. Veggies avoid diseases like heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and much more. The most problematic issue in human health, now a days, is the heart problems which is directly connected to meat. Meat eaters compared to plant eaters gain more fat and high blood pressure which leads to heart disease. The best way to avoid heart problems is to start eating veggies, even some health care providers suggest that physicians should recommend the plant-based diet to all their patients. Veggies also help us to digest food and thrive better neutrally.
