When the thunderstorm, started both Franklin and his son went into a shed, flew a kite high in the air and brought a electric charge down the wet sting of the kite, but Franklin saw that the kite’s loose threads were standing up, so he put his knuckle on a key that was at the end of the string and saw a electric spark.
