Does Beowulf really exemplife or contradict the claims made by Joseph Campbell? Beowulf is a classic epic warrior whose quest was to rid the land of danger. Beowulf shows his superhuman qualities during the story. His first is the battle with Grendel. Grendel is a tough man, he has weopons that show how tough he really is. His life is too help people out when they need it and beowulf did that and then some.

Beowulf has a long journey ahead of him that is very challenging along the way. The challenging events bring out his superhuman qualities to get through the rough challenges. It is hard for Beowulf to relize he has superhuman qualities. He uses his strength to battle Grendel. Grendle is depicted as a monster of a giant.
