Betsy’s Philanthropy Work-Financial Giving
Betsy is among the USA philanthropists I know. I would argue that these philanthropic deeds are due to her affluent family, and her passion to change the education system. She donates finances towards reforming the education sector and even political campaigns. Her philanthropy started after the realization that not all children in America have the right to quality educational, and most parents could not choose where to school their kids. It’s from this point that Dick and Betsy Foundation started, and low income parents received scholarships for their children.

In addition, there was a decision to support several kids from Potters House. Together with other stakeholders, she formed the American Federation for Children, an umbrella organization related to the Federation for children Action Fund. Her greatest success in the education matters is the city of Florida that has a high enrollment of students through her tax-credit scholarship. In addition, she contributed towards the creation of Great Lakes Education Project that led to the expansion of charter schools in Michigan.
