My character’s name is Betty Rizzo and she is a “Pink Lady” in the musical Grease. She is a fiery and misunderstood teenage girl and I believe she is the victim of the show rather than the villain. She is constantly being judged by her classmates and by the audience on her decisions and on her “relationship status”. She is very impulsive and spontaneous and acts as if she could not care about anyone’s opinion or their personal thoughts on her. One of the impulsive things she does is gets into relationships with guys who typically leave her behind or end the relationship quickly. This causes her to have understandable trust issues with most people she meets. She loves being who she wants to be, the “Pink Ladies”, and wants to enjoy her senior …show more content…
She does not feel ready to be a parent or face her classmates with the unanticipated news. The new love she has for Kenickie is something she has not truly experienced before, making her scared of their new relationship. Throughout the show, she has to make difficult decisions and face her fears. One of these choices include her having to allow Kenickie back into her life or continue to push him away, as her fear grows about being pregnant and being judged. She also must make the decision to face the world about her future and relationships or just keep to herself like she always has. She typically acts quickly on these choices and sometimes, she was not given a choice and had to continue with what had been decided. One example of this is when her best friend, Marty, accidentally reveals Rizzo’s pregnancy. Her attitude to most of the tough options is to analyze and decide quickly, typically acting is if she could not care either way. Rizzo typically does not get what she wants but when she wants something really badly, she will fight for it as hard as she can.
The song that best describes her daily emotions and decisions is There Are Worse Things I Could Do and this is a transition song because, she shows the audience her true vulnerability and fears. This song also reveals why she always acts tough and mean, which is really caused by her inner pain and fears. It shows the audience her sadness
Aileen Wuornos was born February 29, 1956 in Rochester, Michigan to Leo Dale Pittman and Diane Wuornos. Diane had abandoned her children and was never brought up in their household. Her father Leo went to prison before Aileen was born. Leo was a child molester and a psychopath who later hung himself while serving a life sentence in prison after his conviction of kidnaping and raping a seven year old girl. Growing up, Aileen lived with her brother and raised by their grandmother (Biography, 2015).
Cynthia Ann Parker was born approximately around 1825 to Lucy and Silas M. Parker in Crawford County, Illinois (civilwarwomenblog.com). Parker was around the age of nine or ten when her family moved to Texas and built Fort Parker. They built a major wall to provide them with protection against natives, on the headwaters of the Navasota River (lone-star.net). Fort Parker was attacked on May 19, 1836 by Comanche, Caddo and Kiowa warriors. They killed most of the residents.
The debate over Aileen Wuornos’ jurisdiction is one that is still open due to how controversial the case is. What accounts a person as a criminal is a person who is well aware of the actions he/she is committing. A criminal has a clear intentions and is aware of the consequences ahead. Whereas, a victim is one who under astounding circumstances can be excused for their heinous actions. An in depth look into Aileen Wuornos’ life can lead to viewing her as a truly a criminal who is responsible for all of her crimes.

On top of being mobile and broadcasting programs at the front lines, the Fifth Army Mobile Radio Station was able to efficiently counter enemy programs as well. As explained earlier for the reason why it was created in the first place, being mobile rather than a stationary radio station really help to prevent front line troops to succumbing to enemy propaganda. The most prominent of these enemy propaganda radio stations in Italy would be Axis Sally, broadcasting transmissions that directed propaganda programs to the U.S. Fifth Army and Allied troops, trying to demoralize them. Axis Sally was a generic nickname to female radio personalities who broadcasted English-language propaganda radio for the Axis Powers during World War II.
