Bill Nye influences many people to become interested in the world of science and engineering. “There’s nothing I believe in more strongly than getting young people interested in science and engineering, for a better tomorrow, for all humankind.” When Bill Nye says this quote he is saying that sciences help the world understand and grow so that we can make ourselves healthier and better. The world of science, engineering, and math has and is being pushed by educators nationwide. It means that anyone and anything can benefit from something someone else may think as “trash” or “garbage”. Bill Nye Attended the private Sidwell Friends School, Nye enrolled at Cornell University, where he studied mechanical engineering. Upon earning his Bachelor of Science degree (Biography, par 3). “Everyone you meet, knows something you don’t”. This quote says that even if you think you know everything and you’re smart, everyone you meet will have some sort of knowledge that you do not. Nye went on to become the face of Bill Nye the science Guy, an award-winning educational program that taught science to preteens (Biography, par 1). “Humor is everywhere, in that there’s irony in just about anything a human does”.
