People Finally Had a Value This document is written in the Constitution of the United States, March 4th, 1789. By mainly a very important person in the history of our country, even though at the beginning not a lot of people thought it was necessary to write them thankfully, they did. In this time period, The Constitution was written in September 17, 1787, just two years before this document and they kept adding what they thought it was important such as these rules that it will now be explained. This document is the called the Bill of Rights which is a series of Amendments, referring to first ten to be exact. These are written in the Constitution, they show and state the crucial rights and the civil liberties, such as freedom of religion, expression, speech and more. The amendments are just rights we always have and that no one can break or take them away from us. These amendments were written because people noticed things that were disturbing them and that should not be happening, such as being obligated to have soldiers in your own house and they …show more content…
They finally took action about this and made the right decision by giving all of us these rights. They were written in New York City. In my opinion I do not know what would have happened without having this rights written to be able to know them, also I know these amendments change the way of how people should be treated. The Bill of Right was written by James Madison, to grant protection and to let the people know what rights and liberties they had. Madison was the main and most important figure who wrote the constitution, even though at first he was one of the several that did not think the Bill of Rights should have been written. Later, he first had the idea and considered to change some things in the Constitution, thinking that it was missing something, pointing to the idea of adding the amendments, he wanted to protect the civil
After the Declaration of Independence in 1787, the Federal Government turned to the creation of the Constitution in which delegates from 13 states convened to make compromises on their beliefs for the betterment of a nation. Although the Bill of Rights was initially not a part of the Constitution, the Federalists thought that it was crucial to ensure ratification of the Constitution. This ratification was one of the main reasons why the Bill of Rights needed to be added. Federalists feared a strong, central government, and created a Bill of Rights in order to prevent government abuse. Others believed that a dominating Government could prohibit rights in the future, which would not necessarily be expressed in the Bill of Rights.
The Constitution of the United States was written in 1787, but there was a grapple for its ratification that went on until about two decades after the ratification. Members of Congress believed that the first government of the United States or the Articles of Confederation, needed to be adjusted while others did not want anything to change. After the Revolutionary War, the people did not want a strong central government, because it reminded them too much of what they were trying to escape from. Under the Articles, each state had their own laws, and the need for a new Constitution was desired by many. The Constitution of 1787 created huge debates, arguments and splits in the nation that lasted for several year after its ratification between people who
A constitution is a document with principles upon which the state or organization must be governed by. In Philadelphia, a convention took place known as the Constitutional Convention on May 25. During the convention, the Founding Fathers of the United States created a framework for which the government should follow. On September 17, 1787, this document was signed, now known as the Constitution of the United States of America. After the Constitution was made a national disagreement took place discussing whether the Constitution was proslavery or antislavery.
Historians agree that the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution serve to secure the rights of American citizens, while others say that it does not affect the rights of American citizens. Each part of the documents Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776 Abigail Adams Letter to her Husband John Adams, 1776, Preamble to the Constitution of the United States, 1787.The First Amendment of the Bill of Rights and Washington’s Farewell Address, 1796 all include things to defend the rights of Americans. The declaration of Independence and the Constitution serves the rights of Americans. The Declaration of Independence is the most important document that involves the rights of Americans.
Labunski starts by taking us to the Philadelphia Convention where Madison recorded the convention proceedings extended periods of time every day, noting every vote and discussion. Surprisingly, Labunski barely remarks on Madison’s role in the writing of several of the Federalist Papers, instead he focused on Madison’s exchange with Patrick Henry at Virginia’s ratifying convention and his pivotal role in that convention. Madison initially believed that the amendments on personal liberties were unnecessary because the Constitution in the form it was written, gave very few rights to the federal government. However, he and a few others argued that by specifying individual rights, that would imply that the federal government would receive the authority to all other personal rights.
In Document I they are taking out the Bill of Rights and putting that information elsewhere and enter information that doesn’t need to be in the Constitution. One of Thomas Jefferson's group leaders has sent a copy of his work and he noticed that he took out one part of information that needs to be in The Constitution. Without the Bill of Right the people will turn against their government. Thomas Jefferson said a complaint to his friend and wanted to know why he took out the Bill of Rights. With the Bill of Rights the people are under control because they accept what is written and why they look up to the Bill of Rights.
Document one was all about enforcing the laws and having no power to collect taxes. Document two is about why we should support the ratification of the constitution. The Bill of Rights was added to document three. The Bill of Rights is all about citizens rights and what they
The Bill of Rights was ratified on December 15, 1791 written by James Madison. The Bill of Rights was written and added into the Constitution in order to protect the rights of the citizens. The Bill of Rights was added into the Constitution by a compromise between the Anti-Federalists and the Federalists. Federalists were citizens who supported the new Constitution. While Anti-Federalists were another group of citizens who were scared to have another king or a abusive government, basically did not support the Constitution.
The first 10 amendments to the Constitution make up the Bill of Rights which was written by James Madison. He wrote The Bill Of Rights in response of calls from several states for greater constitutional protection of individual liberties. The people who signed the declaration made a promise to protect the people from the government. The colonist wanted to keep their rights because they had a fear of a tyrannical government. People believed and were taught that The Bill Of Rights came from the desire to protect the liberties won in the American Revolution.
In the late 1700’s, James Madison wrote the first Ten Amendments that are listed in the United States Constitution. The Bill of Rights were written to ensure American citizens that they have freedoms and rights that the government can 't infringe. Out of the Ten Amendments, I believe that the First and Eighth Amendment are the most significant. The First Amendment grants us freedom of speech, religion, press, petition, and for people to assemble peaceably.

Drafted in 1787 and ratified in 1788, the Constitution has been a guiding light for the United states. It has been the foundation of our country as it has played major roles in history, beginning immediately after its ratification and continuing to expand its influence on the decisions made by the government today. Although the country we see now has been largely influenced by the Constitution and its values, the Constitution was not always what it is today. Becoming a newly established country in 1776, the United States was still in its period of growth as the founding fathers and citizens were trying to figure out what government system would best suit their aspirations and values. Coming from a hard-fought war, the Second Continental Congress,
