John Wayne Gacy, Aileen Wuornos, Richard Ramirez and are all widely known notorious serial killers who in common, share the feeling of abandonment, neglect, and abuse during their adolescence years. Studies often show a traumatic experience can lead to mishap in one’s psychological and physical behavior which can cause anxiety, alcohol and drug use, low self-esteem, withdrawn, dissociation, difficulty with making and maintaining relationships, experiences flashbacks, hypervigilant, self-harm, and criminal activity. Since these killers had to endure a troublesome childhood, they were destined to become criminal masterminds. During her childhood, she was abused sexually by her father, grandfather, or any male who came into her life. She was eventually thrown out of her house and had to make a living being a sex worker on Florida highways. Her killings are a clear representation of how a tortuous past can effect so much damage on a person mental and physical behavior. John Wayne Gacy Jr. was born on March 17, 1942, to middle-class Marion and John Gacy Senior in Chicago, Illinois. His mother was Danish and his father was Polish. His father was an abusive alcoholic with a violent temper that often led to him beating his wife and children, the beatings were usually with a razor strap. John’s beatings were usually so brutal that he ended up in the hospital most of the time and was suffering from blackouts caused by seizures. Since John’s medical condition was never diagnosed Sr. often accused Gacy of fabricating illnesses even while lying helpless on a hospital bed.
In which he got convicted of of and later released after serving 18 months of his 10 year conviction, due to good behavior. After finding this out his first wife then filed for divorce against Gacy. Then in 1975 Gacy continued with his offenses, after working long hours, then driving around to look for male prostitutes, and as well as runaway male teenagers. Of which he would then hide the bodies in the floorboards of his house, or when he ran out of room in his floorboards he would then throw them in the river down the street. With the stress of the murders the murders, Gacy got careless by offering a teenage boy (15 yrs old, Robert Piest) a better job than what he was working for.

After the surgery he had little emotion and was an unhappy child most of the time.
