As a result they are usually lives in the wild. Black bear use forest as protection and food. They lifespan are between 10 to 30 years old. When bears in Maine reaches the age of two, their survival exceeds 90% (Maine.gov, 2013). A. Attention-getter: However, nearly the cause of all dead bear resulted from human.

Like Cassidy said, humans are animal too. We have no right to hunt them just because it’s fun and it is a sports. Bear can hurt as much as human could. Try imagining yourself getting shot by a gun and you don’t immediately die after. The feeling is extremely painful and torturous. Sometimes they are lucky if their die after because than it won’t be as painful. 2. Support: What if that Bear have a cub that is waiting for her? Is that mean you took that cub’s mother away just because it is a sport? What if someone took your mom away from you when you were kids? How would you feel? I can live with hunting as a predator, hunt to eat, because one bear can actually last pretty long, but please don’t hunt because it is a sport.
Second,
1. Support: If I remember correctly, before human come to Maine, Maine use to all be a forest. Which mean that bear have live in Maine before humans do. As a result, we are the invader, not them. We just come in, took their land, their territory, push them away, and makes the land ours. If American took Indian people’s land and give them a free tuition to go to college, maybe they should think of doing something nice for the bear too. Not by hunt them down so that we could do a research on
Kermode bears are important for many reasons. The idea of the Kermode bear started with Frances Kermode of the royal British army the bear was named after him because many people thought he was very important. Sometimes these bears can help states attract tourist which helps the state raise money to save the bear’s habitats and the bears themselves from being endangered. These bears are important to people in so many different ways like the bears help hunters in hunting season, they also help give people the meat and bones they need they need to survive and to help make a profit (Local Distilleries’ Fight for Spirit Bears). The Kermode bears are also called the spirit bear because of their white ghostly look which makes them important to some
Humans consider polar bears as one of the cutest animals on the planet. Not only are they adorable, but they are also going extinct because of the warming temperatures in the Arctic. But what the public does not know is that the warmer weather is not the only thing killing off these animals; it is truly cannibalism. Rod Sterling's story, "Monsters Are Due on Maple street," reveals this surprising truth in a similar way. The story takes place in an ordinary neighborhood that is supposedly being attacked by aliens.
The recordings help with presentation. Be that as it may, specialists are quite clear: Do not get very close with bears, as Kowalczik does. Indeed, even with hostage bears, there's a shot their senses will assume control, says Matt Merchant, senior natural life scholar with New York's Department of Environmental Conservation. Also, there are intrinsic risks of moving around with a creature that is seventy five percent of a
A study suggest that the yellow stone park grizzly bears from the time period of 1959 to
The bear is an extremely diverse creature that has been around for a very long time. We see them portrayed in many ways, from a fierce predator to be feared to a cuddly stuffed animal friend. Here is part one of our list of interesting facts about bears. Number Fifteen: We Can Determine Their Age Through Their Teeth The most reliable method for determining the age of a bear is to look at a cross section of its tooth root through a microscope lens.
The general area of Maine would have been devoid of human interaction for much of its geological existence but around an estimated 12 to 20,000 years ago the first homo sapiens began to arrive in North America. Many of these early peoples would have been focusing primarily on their resource needs, one of those being the hunting of large Pleistocene game animals including the infamous wooly mammoth. With this coming change, the Paleo-Indians arrival would mark the beginning of a new kind of landscape in Maine. One that humans would have a dramatic effect on the physical landscape, but the means by which they accomplish this would be influenced by the trees. Looking at these early Americans, a similar interaction can be seen in the migration of Pleistocene mammals, where humans natural need for sustenance lead to the movement of peoples eastward across the continent as they followed the massive beasts.
One of the most well-known vulnerable bear species is the polar bear, these bears are found exclusively in the arctic across Alaska, Norway, Canada, Greenland and Russia. Polar bears are seen along the coasts and on islands, they are very often found out on the ice across the sea. These bears feed mostly on seals and so the ice is of huge importance out at sea, polar bears travel across this ice while looking for seals between the gaps and spaces. Polar bears are extremely strong swimmers and can travel kilometres in distance searching for suitable spots to try and feed, although they are strong swimmers they are not fast enough to keep up with seals
Hunting has been a part of our society since the first man set foot on this continent, but animal rights movements have become popular in our society recently that has questioned the necessity of hunting in our modern times. Because of this, animal populations are left freely to where they can multiply at an alarming rate. Hunting is a great means of controlling animal populations’ growth, although greatly opposed by many. While hunting is a very controversial topic in our society, there are great points for being for and against it. Hunting is a way that humans see to keep balance of the ecosystem.
How are they different? First of all, the color of their fur is very different one is brown and the other is white but the truth is both bears have the same brown dark skin but
They love to eat meat and berries, including fish, rabbits, and blueberries. They both have razor sharp teeth and claws. The grizzly and the polar bear both have very soft fur that keeps them warm in the winter. They both are excellent swimmers. Polar bears live in snowy areas while the grizzly bear lives in forest’.
This essay will be discussing how bears prepare themselves for the hard times of their life and why. Once the winter months start to roll around food gets scarce and it is hard for them to eat so instead of staying awake and starve themselves, they hibernate. In order to prepare themselves for this difficult time of year, the bears must create a safe shelter, gain a few extra pounds, and drink almost three times the amount of water as usual. Black bears are located all throughout the United States and they all have different ways of preparation depending on their environment. (Reference.com)
Different types of bears live in different climates. For example, The brown bear can live in deserts, mountains, forests, and ice fields. Other types of bears can live in the rainforests, tundra, and even medows and coastlines. A large population of grizzly bears live in Alaska and Canada. Black bears typically live in forests, but are also found in mountains and swamps.
Sea ice is now melting earlier in the spring and forming later in the fall. For every week earlier the ice breaks up in Hudson Bay, bears come ashore roughly 22 pounds lighter and in poorer condition. Unhealthy bears can lead to lower reproduction rates. (“Threats To Polar
When people talk about global environmental problems, they commonly to regard Global Warming as the greatest problem confronting the future survival of humanity. There are countless scientific evidences showing the dangers, especially to the environment, and one of the most notable consequences of Global Warming is the impact on polar bears. Since polar bears are terribly affected and they are losing their icy habitat, they have become an iconic animal of Global Warming and have drawn a lot of attentions from publics, experts and medias. Though polar bears are good swimmers, pictures of polar bears on an isolated ice sheet at the peril of drowning when the ice sheet melts are often used to represent the tragic consequences of Global Warming on the frozen ecosystems. This formed a suspicion that is climate change really threatening polar bears.
