Growing up in California, my whole life has been around farming and like many others, it’s how I make a living. It’s now been at least a year, living through the Dust bowl and many people have migrated to California with the hope of surviving this crisis. Keeping my crops has become a struggle and that's what most people including me depend on. I am lucky enough to be able to pay my mortgages even though I’m not able to keep the land with the help of family. It’s practically impossible.

Resisting this are a number of components that are thought to interact with each other: the friction between the avalanche and the surface beneath; friction between the air and snow within the fluid; fluid-dynamic drag at the leading edge of the avalanche; shear resistance between the avalanche and the air through which it is passing, and shear resistance between the fragments within the avalanche itself. An avalanche will continue to accelerate until the resistance exceeds the forward force. Modeling Attempts to model avalanche behaviour date from the early 20th century, notably the work of Professor Lagotala in preparation for the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix. His method was developed by A. Voellmy and popularised following the publication
Ever since childhood, we have always dreamed of having a snowstorm outside our home. Many kids and even adults have been fortunate to be in places where snowfall in the winter is very frequent. However, many of us can only watch the snow on television or see photos. On the other hand, it is also possible that we are in places where snow is not very common and temperatures are not extremely cold, as in the southern part of the United States, where you can only feel the warmth and freshness. Snowstorm is not very common in that part of the nation because temperatures do not fall more than thirty degrees or less.
Set in a not-so-distant, yet post-apocalyptic future, Snowpiercer follows Curtis Everett, a lower-class man rebelling against an indomitable ideological regime, as humanity 's last survivors circle the frozen globe, divided by class, in one, long train. The world of Snowpiercer is built upon a society in which inequality reigns and violence is routine, and where the needs of the poor are eschewed in favor of the desires of the rich. Director Bong Joon-Ho adeptly weaves black humor with fast-paced dramatic action, and utilizes the Marxist concepts of hegemony, interpellation, and commodity as spectacle, in order to paint a cautionary picture of a continuously capitalist future. The State in Snowpiercer relies upon a deeply entrenched ruling ideology that can be summed up by Minister Mason 's 7-Minute speech beginning with "This is not a shoe."

Well the people who were traveling to California for the gold rush had to be on a boat or a wagon for a really long period of time. A Lot of people who went to California ended up leaving empty handed. The people who chose to take the long journey to California had to face a lot of challenges along the way like the long travel there, or whether they traveled by land or sea. It takes a long time to get to a destination by a car but the people traveling to California had a super long trip by wagon.
