In my report i’m going to talk about the Pirate clothing, religion, where they from, how they live, the things they do, their history, and my 3 main points are gonna be their ships, blackbeard, and their flag .

A hero is a person who puts themselves in danger for others. Heroic acts can range from small gestures or actions to saving countless lives. Heros are known for their outstanding achievements and bravery. Ronald P. Bucca is a hero because he was brave, loyal, and courageous and is willing to sacrifice.

Benjamin Banneker was a huge self educated mathematician, astronomer, complier of almanacs and also a writer all at the same time. Benjamin Banneker was born on November 9, 1731, in Ellicott’s, Maryland. A free black man who owned his own property with a farm close to Baltimore, Banneker was very self educated in astronomy an mathematics. He was later called to help in the surveying of territory for the construction of the nations capital. Benjamin Banneker also became an active writer of almanacs and exchanged letters with Thomas Jefferson, politely challenging him to do to ensure racial equality. Banneker later passed on October 9, 1806.

Woodes Rogers was originally a merchant, but in 1708 fellow Bristol merchants, whose ships were being targeted by other pirates, sponsored a retaliatory global expedition and chose Rogers to be in charge of it, with William Dampier as his navigator. Privateering could be considered a lawful form of piracy; privateers were given permission from the crown to seize enemy ships, whereas pirates pillaged illegally and as they pleased. In 2013, a documentary called Blackfish was released to the public. This film was produced, written, and directed by a lady named Gabriela Cowperthwaite, as a way to show the world how poorly whales are treated and why they do not belong in captivity. Blackfish also shows how little people really know about the beautiful and highly intelligent orca whale itself. Her film was seen by many, and touched the hearts of a lot people, taking the debate of the topic to a higher level. The movie hits on a lot of main issues about captivity, told by reliable people, along with proven statistics to go along with them. That makes this sources extremely dependable for my final paper due to all the good information it gives.

Eugene Jacques Bullard had several qualities that made him successful. One quality was that he was persistent. A physician, Roger Chillingworth, takes care of him on the outside, but behind closed doors Chillingworth is keeping Dimmesdale in his pain.Because the man will not confess his sin he tortures himself, which causes physical and mental illnesses. Another American gothic novel, Moby Dick, was writing from the author's, Herman Melville , experience on a whaling ship. The wailing ship’s captain is Captain Ahab. Ahab’s main goal for going on the whaling ship is to kill the whale, Moby Dick. Roger Chillingworth and Captain Ahab are both evil characters with many differences.
