Vincent Edward Jackson….or widely known as Bo Jackson. Who was he? A hero to some and an ordinary person to others. Bo is a former Major League Baseball and National Football League player and the only person to be named an All-Star player in two sports. He had determination like no other and did not like to disappoint anyone, especially himself. Bo Jackson is an epic hero because of his great strength and courage, national heroism, and humility. Bo Jackson has had great strength and courage since a young age. He had always been stronger than his friends and most kids his age. Jackson was known for throwing rocks during crabapple fights, dunking a stick, and breaking windows. At a young age he inherited his father's stuttering and other kids made fun of him for it, this caused Bo to fight a lot. Fighting a lot only made him stronger and capable of more things. Today he still holds the fastest 40 yard dash time in NFL history. With many more accomplishments, Bo had significant strength and courage during his entire career. …show more content…

He was not only recognized in his hometown , but all over the world for his great deeds and amazing career. He won the Heisman trophy award for the most outstanding college football player, his longest home run was 475 feet with the Kansas City Royals, and his longest touchdown was 92 yards with the LA Raiders. After high school he turned down an offer with the New York Yankees because he was going to have hardly any playing time and he instead attended Auburn University where he would be playing all the time and he made a promise to his mother that he would be the first to attend a major college.
