Most of all the people forced into the trade system are girls between the age of 12-18. These people are being imprisoned for usage of their body, for the joy of others with the highest price.
Mariah Sanabria “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.” Booker T. Washington Life can often be full of obstacles. However, that does not mean that overcoming them and being successful is not possible. Obstacles in life are there as challenges. Significantly, this novel helps people retrain the meaning of being humble and kind with others. Something that is very important about this novel is that it teaches a lesson of helping others, because you are not going to stay with your money when you die.
One thing Dennis said that really impacted me was “Easier to make the world better, difficult to make you better.” When he said that, I imagined how would
Giving Brent hope and confidence, and showing him that all actions have consequences whether they be big or small; good or bad everything we do impacts someone else. ‘“People are not all Hitler, kindelah. Why are they relying on American and other countries to help their next generation, what politically happened to make the wars over there so terribly gruesome, and how can I help? When I 'm older I could join organizations like UNICEF or a local church group, but I probably can 't help Sierra Leone 's government choose a side or help fight against the rebels that want to over throw Sierra Leone 's government and take over. At my old church, Northstar, they collected boxes of goodies to give to children all around Africa for Christmas. Every year my family has given the Church about three boxes that were filled with toiletries, drawing supplies, some clothes, sweets, and toys. I don 't want to just keep donating, I also wish to go do missionary trips and help on the front lines.
