The founder was Chiang Sang Sem and he is still the CEO for this company until now. He have over 30 year experience in the leather industry. He have skills and expertise in the leather industry. He always travel all around the world to ensure that his company follow the trend of fashion. It was an awards that organized by The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) with Media Prima as the joint presenter. The purpose of this award is to accelerate the country top performing brands. Bonia have a growth of 33.6% and have brand value of RM 129 million in 2012. Among 30 winners of this awards, Bonia was the only company that fall under leatherwear category. Besides focusing in their core business, Bornia Corp also further develop their business in different sectors. In 24 October 2012 Bornia Corp launch their first Renoma Café Gallery. It was attended by many VIP. There are many event that held during the launching ceremony like sand art performance, Renoma fashion show and video montage showing about the origins of the cafe. In future, Bornia Corp will steps up overseas expansion plan. Bornia Corp are basically try to target new markets like Thailand and the Philippines to expand the business. Cheetah has also taken off their expansion plan, Cheetah recently signed with Woolworths plc to get the right to manufacture, distribute, promote and sell Ladybird merchandise in Malaysia and Singapore. Cheetah has also invested and acquire 75% stake in Above House Sdn Bhd which retail and distributes ladies fashion accessories to further enlarge their business. Their executive director Chia Kee Kwei also mentions that they are trying to get more acquisitions locally and abroad from more various parties. In 2007, Cheetah Holding Berhad had made it to the Fobes Asia 2007 Best Under A Billion List, with the sales under RM 3.4 billion.
