One lesson that I learned from the book The Help is to treat others the way that you would want to be treated. In the story Hilly is very snobby and disrespectful towards people with colored skin. Later in the story Hilly gets what she deserves. Minny puts a special ingredient in one of her chocolates pies, poop.
