Instead they can come in and pick out a large quantity of outfits and every Tuesday and Thursday. This organization is such a blessing for many students and I would not trade my experience there for anything in the world. I also volunteer at my school library form time to time. I have always adored reading. So my freshman year of high school and beyond was spent checking out multiple books at there.
Even now, I use this mantra daily, even translating it outside of school. When I ask for fewer hours at my job during busy weeks, I remind myself that the hours I do work that week are enough. Sometimes I have to skip a few activities to catch up on my sleep, and I’m able to tell myself that the activities I did go to that week were enough. I repeat this quote to myself multiple times a day, and even made a poster with it to hang on my wall.
Document 7) Later a man wrote about the kids that were working for a long time everyday saying that the kids should not put up with these long hours and ages six to thirteen had to go to school to learn math and writing. This made the children very happy. However, it later change the ages six to eighteen had to go to school and learn math and reading. Less kids were dying and it had Economic growth. There were no kids dying of lung disease at a young age and there were less pollution in the air for them to breathe because they were basically in school the whole time.
According to a Navy Seal quote” The only easy day was yesterday”. I first witness the quote while I was reading a book about Navy Seals in the eight-grade and I enjoyed it. I liked the citation since life is an everyday struggle and each day is more difficult than the previous day. I felt the true connotation of the citation at the end of freshman year. The end of my freshman year and sophomore year felt like the Navy Seal’s Hell Week, but my Hell’s Week was more
If I’m ever stuck on what to write about, I think of my family. If I ever need help with any of my homework, I will go to my family. This applies outside of academics too. If I ever need someone to rely on, it will always be my family. Out of all the flash drafts I wrote I chose this one, and that is an obvious giveaway on where my success is based.
“Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.” These were the words that my elementary teacher told my class before a summer vacation. I never forgot them because they were the reason I ever got into my creative writing. I’ve been writing stories for both profit and pleasure for the last ten years, and each one is an example of my improvement. I took this class as a review course after my recent two year hiatus, and I believe that I have made an improvement in my writing as a whole.
Waking up every morning to go to school was my favorite time of the day. As a Hispanic child living in the outskirts of Dodge City, the bus ride felt like a road trip to an English speaking world. Going to school was so fun for me as a kid, as I would learn new things my parents couldn’t teach me because of their background. For example, I learned to speak English. It was a challenge to learn how to communicate with my teachers and acquaintances.
So that was kind of how the daily routine went for all of elementary. Every day after school we sat down together and worked on the school work that would always be giving me trouble whether it was a spelling test or some math homework. Most conversations went like “Your brother Erik can do it just fine, why can't you?” or “Everyone else in class understands this just fine, so that means you aren’t trying enough.” Eventually things started to click it started slowly at first like “Wow Isaac you did ok on this spelling bee.”
Plan: The next time my mom asks me to join her for an event; I will tell her “let me get back to you,” to provide myself time to check in with myself and my schedule agreeing. Strengths: I have become increasingly good at sending boundaries with work and internship and I think this skill translates into my personal life. Problem 2: I do not frequently exercise because I feel too busy with school, work, internship, and school; lack of exercise leaves me dealing with: obesity, lowered health, and muscle stiffness from inactivity.
This is my second semester as a distance learner and I believe that I did an exceptional job at my work. My strengths in the distance learning format is my ability to set goals and be well-disciplined enough to reach those goals by the deadlines. I kept a tiny notebook calendar on hand and wrote down each week what I needed to complete in each class. I tried to work on something each day to reach those goals. With the ability of being organized and self-disciplined will assist me in everything I do in college and at
West as well. He says that his family is together more because of school. His wife teaches music, musical theatre, and is the head volleyball coach. Both of his kids are in the elementary school at Southcrest as well. However, he is busier during the school year and has “to carve out time for family.”

Hospital Corpsmen were often the only medical caregivers available in many fleet or Marine units. Hospital Corpsmen served as enlisted medical specialists for the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps. They worked in a wide range of areas and locations, including naval hospitals and clinics, on ships, in battle, and as well as the main medical caregivers for sailors while underway (2). The Hospital Corpsman of World War 2 started their military life at boot camp, like all other sailors in the US Navy.
The article, “Bad mix for the teen brain,” by Janet Hopson, reviews many different surveys conducted by psychiatry researchers at various universities. Each survey tracked varying numbers of 12-14 year olds for a duration of time. These researchers found out that the teenage brain, particularly the prefrontal cortex, has not reached full maturity. The prefrontal cortex is just behind the forehead and controls the, “ability to stop oneself from acting impulsive…” (Hopson, 2013) The effects of drinking in young adolescents is very harmful to the brain.
