Nichols admits to helping McVeigh choose materials to construct the bomb, and even helped McVeigh the day before the bombing with building the bomb in the back of the rental Ryder truck. Even though Nichols was charged with his connection to the Oklahoma City bombings, Nichols had denied his involvement for many years. A search of Nichols home after his arrest found that he had blasting caps, guns, and a receipt that showed the purchase of ammonium nitrate that exceeded what an individual would need for personal use for lawn care. In addition, Michael Fortier was charged and sentenced to ten years after law enforcement found out that Fortier knew about McVeigh’s plans for the Oklahoma City bombing, and his failure to report it. Fortier also assisted McVeigh by receiving stolen weapons from Terry Nichols, selling the weapons, and upon McVeigh’s request, giving the money he made off of the stolen weapons to Nichols.

One child, Ralph Davidson, provided a vivid account of what happened on the island. He states that when they first crashed, they elected him as chief. As time progressed, Jack created his own tribe which was centered on hunting and killing pigs on the island. This is most likely why Jack Simmons is having the most difficult time adapting back to the normality of life. Even though these boys were only there for about a month, it is a time that none of the remaining children will ever forget.

A whole year had gone by without Christine being home, and Jermaine was worried. On July 26, 2013, Jermaine filed a missing person report. It was quickly ignored and Jermaine just went back to work. He followed the day up at a night club, then went to the back alley to go back to his car, he then saw Trey carrying Christine's dead body into his white van, screaming "I told you I'd get you back you ____!" Weeks went by, then years, Jermaine then turns to the habit of drinking.
In the section where information is given about “The Pedestrian” it talks about how “The Pedestrian” came to be. Bradbury, himself, experiences this moment which leads him to write the short story. This is because he also walked in an area of no pedestrians. When the police stopped Bradbury and his friend, Bradbury said something that the police didn’t take him serious and became suspicious of him. In the text it states, “Bradbury’s inspiration for the story came when he was walking...with a friend….On their walk, a police cruiser pulled up and asked what they were doing… the policemen didn’t appreciate Ray’s joke and became suspicious of Bradbury and his friend for walking in an area where there were no pedestrians… using this experience as inspiration he wrote “ [The story’s] composition in the early months of 1950 predate Bradbury’s conception of ‘the firemen’” the short novella that would later evolve into Fahrenheit 451.” This evidence shows that police/authority mistrust them for dialogue and stopped them because they were standing out from the others.
Well actually many stuff can go wrong. Such as the Boston bombing. It was a sunny day on April 15, 2013. Many citizens were getting ready to run the Boston Marathon. BAM!, the Marathon started, many people were to run 26 miles along the Boston streets ending near the Boston Public Library.
The cops arrived, and calmed me down enough to take my statement my parents were called, and came home the next day. All of us were brokenhearted over Tommy, who got stabbed just for trying to help me. The following years were hard. I was in therapy for a year afterwards, and every anniversary of the event, I think over what happened. The reason my husband asked me about it was, years later after I had begun to date and finally married, I saw a news story about two robbers arrested not far from where we live.
The Boston Bombing occurred during the Boston Marathon in 2013 . Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother Tamarlan set off two bombs near the finish line of the marathon, killing three people and wounding over 260 more . Tsarnvaevs older brother had been killed during a gun battle with the police and Dzokhar had later been arrested. The younger of the two brothers was then put on trial and later facing death on 17 counts and being sentenced to death. Most people thought sentencing the 21 year-old bomber to death as “a fitting punishment for this horrific crime” (Lynch, n.d.).
