The team with five members started to work on a tight schedule and a limited budget. The main task we had taken for about two weeks was receiving applications, arranging transportation and planning for some programs for the trip such as cross-country and skiing. Rolling up our sleeves, we referred to a memo for last years’ trips. Although the most of the part in the memo was helpful, I found some processes were inefficient and time-consuming. They had daily meetings in person, and adhered to renting a bus spending considerable part of the budget without proper reasons. Thus, I made a suggestion for meeting daily online at night so that each member could do their duties adjusting their own progress, giving them responsibilities and autonomy. Also the idea that some members already had their own cars came across my mind and I proposed a plan to make use of their cars, instead of renting a bus.
