“Friendship has been described as the most holy bond of society”. I agree with this quote because friendship I believe that everyone has that one important person in their life.
That one person that means a lot to them.
I got the chance to read “Boy in the Striped Pajamas”. I think the book is sweet the reason for that is because as both boys meet up they talk about things they don't normally tell anyone else. Their friendship lived for two years at the end of the book both boys die on the other side of the fence. Their friendship dies with them. They had a special friendship their friendship wasn't like other friendships at their age other 8 year old boys would just think of playing not communicating. I guess in a way they weren't allowed to play but even through that bruno kept going each day to go visit shamul.

Upon choosing my fourth song, I thought of the portion of the novel where Janie begins to grow doubt following her current friendship with Tea Cake. The main reasons for this sprouting emotion include the age gap between them and her unwillingness to pursue a relationship with him for fear of him messing with her feelings. Over the course of the next few days in the story, Tea Cake reassures Janie of his pure intentions even though she remains skeptical. In order to express his affection towards her, Tea Cake invites Janie to a picnic at the end of the chapter where she continues to question him by saying he could bring any woman he wants and states he does not have to bring her along just to show kindness. With correlation to their back and
He moved to a house in the middle on nowhere it was called the Outwith. Bruno had no one to talk with, no one to play with or go on adventures with. One day he goes out adventuring by himself… he reaches a fence out in a field. This is when things start to hit him because he sees a little boy. He had to see this boy all beat up and dirty.
Paul Fisher is a boy whose eyes are covered by goggles for Paul's supposedly bad eye sight by the solar eclipse. Paul’s brother, Erik, is part of this story and Paul knows it. I believe there is a bigger secret about Paul’s eyesight and how he lost it. Erik has a lot to do about Paul’s confidence and His choices affect Paul because Erik and his “friends” were a bad influence to Paul and his friends. Erik makes his choice of “friends”.
If your civil rights were taken away, would you fight to protect your rights or watch and let your civil rights drift away? Marcus, a main character in the book Little Brother, was near the bay bridge in San Francisco when it was blown up by terrorists. He was blamed for it by the DHS (Department of Homeland Security). Due to the bombing, the city was put under heavy watch by the DHS and everyone was treated as a potential terrorist, especially Marcus. Throughout the book, Marcus fought against the DHS for the rights to privacy of himself and the civilians of San Francisco.
Then, he feels depressed for a few days and starts going to the backyard and finds a window which lead to him in a different world than he lives in. Also, he made a new friend named Schmuel and started going there regularly to play with him. Because of, not telling Bruno that he now lives near a concentration camp, he never knew not to go there. Instead, he thinks it’s a farm and crawls inside with Schmuel at last and by wearing “pajamas”. As a result of this, Bruno and Schmuel, both get thrown into the gas chamber and get killed at the end.
Tragically, I think Connie is separated from her family toward the end of Oates' story. She is power to run with Arnold Friend and Ellie far away in the Country. She comes to ensure her family. Arnold Friend may sexually abuse her. I trust this due to the accompanying quote, "We'll go out to a pleasant field, out in the nation here where the aroma is so pleasant and it's sunny," Arnold-Friend said.
Lilleonna Woods Mr. Mostov HLA 8 26 February 2023 Winnie the Pooh is a very well known character who has not only taught many valuable lessons, but still does to this day. Winnie the Pooh is a yellow bear from a children's show. He is significant in relation to the book Warrior Don’t Cry because of some of his quotes, especially “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” – A.A. Milne, Winnie the Pooh. This represent the main idea of the book.

In third novel The Lord of the Flies by William Golding the characters are all innocent when they first get to the island. They are some boys that are happy they don't have any adults and there are others who are not. Ralph is a character who shows innocence in the beginning of the novel when he tells everyone Piggy's nickname even though Piggy told him not to "he's not fatty. He's real name is Piggy!" (Golding).
Hero’s are great and powerful people. A Hero is someone who is willing to risk their life to help someone even though they don’t have to. Ponyboy is an example of a hero. Johnny is also a great example of a Hero. Bob though, is the complete opposite of a Hero.
A Long Way Gone is an autobiography that shows his younger days and the transition of him turning into a child solider. In the story the military uses tactics to manipulate the boys such as anger, drugs, and fear to transform the boys into being child soldiers. The military use anger to manipulate the boys by making the boys blame the rebels for everything “ Visualize the banana tree as the enemy, the rebels who killed your parent your family and those who are responsible for everything that happened to you” (112). With all the built up anger that the boys have it was easy for them to manipulate them because with the loss of their family and friends they already hate the rebels and having them stabbing the banana tree was a way for them to
Through all of the problems the boys have faced they still maintain a friendship. Friendship is a combination of things but it is always built on a foundation of trust, and wanting the best for one
It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.” This quotation means that friendship is can be good, and bad. Understanding one another through good, and bad, but allowing the other to get hurt causes greater problems.
This was the beginning of their friendship created during tough times of the Holocaust. The races of Jews and Germans were separated after World War I and Jews were put into concentration camps run by the Nazis. This quote shows that Bruno did not want to disagree with his friend Shmuel even though they did not share the same ideas. Both boys knew the differences they had, but they put them aside and became friends. In
My mom, my sweet, gentle mom. My mom is like my sister, we love to talk about juicy stuff and love to share with each other what we did during the day. I don 't like to imagine myself without her because she is basically my life. She is caring and kind and always have a smile on her face when she sees me. When I say her name I get a picture of her in my mind.
