Brief Summary: Even though Grenada had gone through financial and economic problems, weather conflicts, and even the US invading them, Grenada has managed to stay strong. Grenada has had a hard time with some national struggles such as financial and economic problems, the Invasion from The US, and Grenada has had problems with their climate. The financial and economic problems were not the worst of Grenada’s problems but yet still was a difficult conflict to deal with. The invasion from the U.S. left the beautiful country of Grenada into a deadly war zone. The climate change, though, was very devastating, killing many people. These include an independent debt sustainability assessment, external mediation and a creditors’ conference(Edmonds 2.)” The government wants to solve the debt problems in a timely manner, which is likely to include an IMF-supported program. The government has to address the public before signing any papers. The government also has to share any documents with the Committee of Social Partners and public before making a move. Grenada will have to reduce risk of debt in the future, which will require the government to strengthen legal and administrative to ensure transparency, accountability and participation. The Government must commit to a mechanism that will monitor and evaluate debt commitments. Grenada must have debt management capacities, which will help in the future. The government is debuting with the people to draft a proposal that will protest interests. The poor are sacrificing for the privileged, which isn’t good for Grenada as a whole.
