Bromo Dragonfly Research Paper The Bromo Dragonfly--also known as Bromo-benzodifuranyl-isopropylamine, 3C-Bromo-Dragonfly, or DOB-Dragonfly-- is an uncommon drug, mainly known in the United Kingdom and in the United States. Although it is not really known around the world, many countries/states have put restrictions on the use of this drug due to its potential of being abused. While the drug does not have many long term effects, if it is not used in moderation, it can be very dangerous and may even result in death.
The Bromo Dragonfly is a powerful hallucinogen, used as a recreational drug. Many people do this drug due to its ability to alter one’s mood. For example, the drug is an uplifting hallucinogen that people use to take themselves to “another/alternative world”. This particular drug was initially produced by Matthew Parker in David E. Nichol’s laboratory in 1998. The Bromo Dragonfly was given its name after its structural similarities to a dragonfly. It has a soft powder consistency and, despite its drug characteristics, may resemble powdered sugar. While the cost of the drug does vary, it typically costs 60-70 dollars per mg.

Its onset ranges from 2-7 hours and the after effects can last from 12-36 hours. Some of the drug’s positive and short-term effects to the consumer include a lifted mood, positive hallucinations, and an increase in energy. However, some of the negative side effects include short-term memory loss, confusion, muscle tension, decreased appetite, and visual distortion. While there are many short-term effects to this drug, there have been no documented long-term risks due to its lack of chemical research. This may be caused by the fact that it is a chemical that does not have a lot of history regarding human use. However, it has been reported that there have been several deaths due to drug
All of the chemicals and solutions conducted in the experiment were either from Pierce/Thermo Fisher Scientific or purchased from Sigma-Aldrich. Many of the concentrations were diluted in water or heated to a certain temperature to see how bed bugs would react to these different solutions. Scientists conducted two experiments to see how bed bugs reacted to different concentrations. The first experiment bed bugs were treated with adenosine nucleotides such as ATP, ADP, and AMP. After collecting data, the results show that there was little to no difference between bugs engorging on blood and ATP.
This increased herbicide leads the probability of the same reasoning being behind the decline of the milkweed. This is important because without the present of milkweed, monarch larvae survival rates would plummet, thus contributing to the monarch butterfly

There is a type of fish in aquariums, that when it swims, it looks like a dragon or like a horse, it’s relative. The leafy sea dragon is a type of sea dragon that looks like seaweed when it swims with many brown and yellow leaf shaped spines all over it’s body. It lives on the south coast of austrailia, the only place too see these little guys. The leafy sea dragon almost looks spiny, it could really creep people out with its “leaves” but its not hurtful at all. The leafy seadragon is a mastermind, it camouflouges really welll, is a carnivore, and has a weird way of mating.
A vital "knowledge gap" is addressed in this experiment, that is to study the effect of stimulants and depressants, such as ethanol, melatonin, epinephrine, and dopamine on HR, individually and in a mixture. Said depressant and stimulant chemicals were administered to daphnia individually and afterwards, in combinations. The motivation for research in this area was to explore whether two select depressants or stimulants when administered together have a synergistic, antagonistic or no effect on HR. Data was determined in the form of Beats Per Minute (BPM). The data was analyzed by plotting the calculated BPM for each test solution from each daphnia.
The Bearded Dragon is a creature the has no wings doesn 't breath fire but it has sharp teeth that can bite through wood. But they are small and fast so watch out for them they are sneaky about their surrounding but they are gentle creatures. But people kill animals but you shouldn 't kill them what you should do is to keep this one alive not dead alive because they aren’t mean they 're safe to keep for as long as you want to keep them. Why should Catholics protect them?
It also states that legally prescribed opioids are generally safe when taken for a short amount of time and are prescribed by a doctor. It described that opioids can be misused by being taken in a different way, in larger quantities or without a doctor’s prescription. Also talks about the drug that can reverse an opioid overdose if given right away, which is naloxone (Abuse). b. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention states that since 1999 the number of overdose deaths involving opioids has quadrupled. The number of opioid involved deaths continues to increase in the United States.
The death rate associated with opioid overdose has
From this we can conclude that the statistic of drug usage is way too high and may be the cause of more harmful effects such as overdoses. While alcohol is still a drug and still has the potential of being very dangerous heroin and other street drugs do not seem to be a adequate and safe substitute and is proven to be even more dangerous. When we look at Opioid and other drug use in America compared to other countries we notice that america is one of the leading countries in drug use around the
It is commonly taken in combination with other drugs and the effects last approximately from 3 to 6 hours. The emotional and effects of MDMA are likely caused by the release of large amounts of serotonin, which influences mood, appetite and sleep. Heavy MDMA users experience symptoms such as long-lasting confusion, depression, sleep abnormalities, and problems with attention and memory.
Tennessee Williams once said “the Venus Flytrap, a devouring organism aptly named for the goddess of love. ’’Venus’s flytraps lie deceptively still on a clump of dirt in the middle of a swamp. The leaves of a Venus’s Flytrap can snap shut in less than one second. There are several things that make Venus Flytraps an interesting thing.
Prescription drugs (opiates only) have caused over 165,000 deaths within the last 15 years and is currently on the rise. Over 2 million Americans in 2014 were addicted to Opiate prescription narcotics. The most troubling fact is listed directly on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website: “As many as 1 in 4
Atropa Belladonna, meaning beautiful lady is an infamously deadly plant. Belladonna has been called the celebrity nightshade. In accordance to the true celebrity nightshade it is, Belladonna has many names. Belladonna’s alternatively known names range from Thorn Apple, Devil’s Cherries, and Great Morel, to its more conspicuously self-evident name; Deadly Nightshade. Discordantly the cognomen used to give the plant its most commonly used name today, is of Italian origin.
Dragonflies-beautiful, delicate, and colorful insects. Live dragonflies are amazing, and so are ones carved out of bamboo. A special object to me, or as some might call it, an artifact, is a self-balancing dragonfly carved out of bamboo in Vietnam. An artifact is an object created by and can be used by humans. I believe these bamboo dragonflies are special to me because they are unique, they are made with accuracy, and most of the children from my mother’s side have one.
Bed bugs have been unearthed from archeological sites dating back more than 3,500 years, when they were considered both pest and potion (Panagiotakopulu and Buckland 1999). The ancients also believed bed bugs could cure many diseases when ingested with wine, beans or eggs (Busvines 1976). Bed bugs continued to be used for medicinal purposes well into the 20th century in Europe and North America.
