Bruce Jenner is a man whose life is quite ironic. Even though he was one of the world’s greatest athlete and a father figure to many children, Bruce Jenner took a big step in his life and came out as a woman, not too long ago. His prominent life is distinguished among the celebrities, because his story is so different from the rest. Bruce Jenner, being 65 years old, definitely has a story to tell.
As a child, Bruce Jenner had two other siblings, a mother, and a father. His two siblings are named Burton and Lisa Jenner. His mother is Esther Jenner, and his father is William Jenner. He had many other step brothers and sisters, as well. Growing up was the most normal his life ever was, until Jenner reached High School.
After changing schools from Sleepy Hollow High School in New York, to Newton High School in Connecticut, He realized that being an athlete was what he was bound to do. He began playing sports in the 5th grade. Those sports included Basketball, Football, and Track. (The Famous People). The two injuries he faced in college were a broken back and a torn ACL in his left knee. His coach Jimbo Fisher said he was lucky it did not paralyze him, which had them in relief. This injury was disheartening for Chris Thompson, he broke his back while in a loss to Wake Forest. Unfortunately, he missed the final eight games of the season and did nine months of rehab, also called physical therapy. Later on, he came back and became the team’s top rusher.

Soon they would move to Pasadena, California. As a child growing up with poverty Robinson and his minority friends were often times excluded from many recreational activities. As a result Robinson ended up joining a gang but was soon persuaded to leave it by one of his friends. Robinson enrolled at John Muir High School where he recognized his athletic talents.
He was vomiting pervsley for three days straight. His mother took him to the doctor and treated him for stomach virus. When he came back to football he started vomiting from running. The player had to drop out of school because of his concussion. He sat in the dark for many days.
As a little boy I had big dreams of playing football. When I was walking in the halls of the intermediate and middle school and saw the high school football players with their jerseys on, they were like super stars. I looked up to them because I wanted to be like them. The high school football players were popular, they were happy, and they were important to the school. Going to the football games on Friday nights was the highlight of my week.
I went up for a layup and got pushed hard in the back. When I came down, I felt my knee buckle and immediately knew something wasn’t right. The sound it made was alarming, proving to be a serious injury - a fractured femur. It was my junior year and I was looking forward to playing basketball and starting to train for the next football season.
