There are many effects of Bullying in our Society. But what is Bullying? “Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance.” ( As stated, Bullying is an unwanted and aggressive behavior among young people, and it involves power. Being aggressive means that they do what they want without thinking on whether they will harm others. They take control over their victims and threaten them.

“Bullying can result in physical injury, social and emotional distress, and even death. Victimized youth are at increased risk for depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, and poor school adjustment.” (CDC, 2015) It can result to injuries, both mental and physical, low self-esteem, death due to injuries and even suicide. It can also cause the victim too much sadness, too much worrying, difficulty in sleeping because they become scared, and their grades in school might suffer. A person can become suicidal depending on how he/she is being bullied; the more bullying occur, the higher the chances of suicide.
Bullying also has a huge impact to the school and its environment. As stated by Bauman and Del Rio in 2006, "School bullying negatively impacts school climate, as fear, depression, and physical complaints affect students' attendance, concentration, and academic performance” It can cause fear, and depression to the student/victim that can affect their attendance, concentration during class and their academic performance; their grades will get low and they have more chance to fail a subject which can also lead to more depression and fear because they will lose hope in
