The problem that arises in any society that professes human rights is how to resolve problems that arise when rights conflict. The government can be an immense benefit in modern society. Nonetheless, it can also be unfair to the individual. There is always a need for a mediator when no decision can be made. The need for a mediation/intervention is often the major downfall of governments, mainly because of the freedom people want of choice but without government at often times there can be
I have read through most of the investigator’s training manual during my wait in intake, and I’ve noticed that many people also fail to take note of what the EEOC covers and how they decide to move forward with a case. Although I do not believe this process should be made known to the public – due to a risk of fraudulent reports – I do think it would help individuals better identify the validity of their charge. I also believe that the available government resources are not well-known to its citizens and that may pose as a barrier for
Have you ever wondered how a society could function, even with horrific events occurring in the shadows of the government every day? How does tragedy, conflict, or adversity contribute to how people and/or societies function? Usually, we don’t acknowledge the dark side of society and we just proceed on with our life. It’s as if we want to avoid the truth without even knowing it. We don’t typically worry about the lives of people living in substandard conditions and people that have to face discrimination in their everyday life.
President Coolidge's “laissez-faire policies also contributed to the economic problems that erupted into the Great Depression”. Despite the fact that he was a moral and honorable president his policies of noninterference in big business hurt more than they helped. Ultimately having good morals does not determine if you will be a good leader or
One big chunk of the knowledge earned by these newly-graduated professionals is contributed by the experience they earned during their first shot of a job. The academe can’t provide all the things that an employer wants, because first of all our education system is not conducive for that and secondly, especially in the field of accounting, there so many topics, so many specializations that one can take. What is taught in the four walls of a classroom is just the general toolset, often just a theoretical toolset. The employer should also take part on the duty of educating the young professionals, if they do really want to get newly-graduated individuals. If not, they should get experienced ones.
Being new in this field, I can say that the job is not really hard if we know how to communicate properly with the concerned institutions, but then I observed that most of the employees in the field offices are unassertive, they are the typical employees who are just doing their jobs for the compensations and not to serve the public with utmost responsibility and integrity. They have eaten by the wrong mind set and system of the past administrations in the public service and still living with it until now. Some of them are due for retirement and there are newly entrants who happened to be their successors. Seeing all of these, like passing the corruption system with the fresh blood in the bureaucracy does not end the problem of the society and these are just some of my observations, there are more other kinds of corruption being happened in the government offices. Worst of it, I am not in the proper position and I did not hold the authority to suppress the wrongdoings of my colleagues, and it is very depressing to know that until now, I don’t know how can I resolve the issues or slightly minimize the occurrence of corruption.
We usually consider the people that have cluttered desks or the messed up workspace as unorganised people. This is quite true that they can be considered to keep unmanaged desk or workplace, but they are often too successful in their work. The majority of the people is brought up in an ideology where being messy is next to being dirty. Most of us believe that if we are keeping our workplace messy or unorganised we will not be able to perform well. Thus, it becomes a practice for the people to keep their workplace or desk organised to deliver better results.
Performance issues are very common problems at workplaces. Managers usually are unsatisfied and frustrated with their employee performance problems but they do not often spend time and effort to find out why it occurs. It is crucial for managers to have some thoughts about the causes of the problem before confronting their employees about this specific subject. The following part of the report will outline those questions and ideas that can allow us to understand the situation better. At workplace, the employer and employee have to corporate well with each other.
Most employers, to a large extent are justified, because while the work place is constantly evolving, our educational systems, particularly the Universities being fiddle points have remained less responsive (routine) to the ever changing needs of employers and the work place. Critical researches and projects that many Corporations, Organizations and Governments agencies would like to embark upon require “superior critical thinkers” to get the job done. Most of these researches could be in health interventions, security and counter terrorism operations, basic transportation and distribution networks etc. There is no better time for employers to ask for these groups of individuals other than now. Nevertheless, these types of research have some drawbacks compared to that of most post-structural teacher identity research: it is mostly confined to a discussion of topics of power, politics, society and culture. There exists no hint as to how these diverse aspects are treated and , although this type of investigation proposes a very profound theoretical and philosophical discussion, it bears no worth for those people who experience the bitter taste of disempowerment in their workplaces day by day. Furthermore, the educational research should be accomplished pragmatically; otherwise, we may expose the risk of becoming immersed in philosophical and scholastic
