The Heritage Village pays homage to Dubai's architectural, cultural and maritime heritage. Much like the Sheikh Saeed Al-Maktoum House, the displays are related to pearl diving and dhow building - two of old Dubai's historic economic mainstays. In addition to these, there are traditional coffeehouses and a small Souk where potters and weavers practice their handicrafts at the stalls. Local music and dance are performed from time to time.

One of the city’s top tourist attractions, The Dubai Aquarium plays home to over 100 species of sea fish all placed in a huge tank suspended on the ground floor of the mall. While the mall provides a free viewing around the tank from all over, it also provides an underwater tour through tunnels within the tank. The National Baltimore Aquarium is one of the largest non profit aquarium in the United States. The aquarium strives to help inspire people on how important it is to preserve the beauty of the ocean and also why some species are becoming endangered.
