This allows a manager form a strategic plan that considers internal and external conditions a business may face. Pete’s Joe and Snow’s main strengths are the employee who give out positive and upbeat service. A weakness would be a lack of employees to keep up with busier times throughout the day. As Pete’s progresses, they will soon find out when busier times are consistent and add an extra employee where needed. The biggest threat Pete’s Joe and Snow faces are competition with bigger coffee shops, such as Starbucks. Internally Pete’s also struggles with promoting within because at the time being with only one store, there is no room to move up positions. The company I am currently working for is Belk, Inc located in Tupelo MS. Belk is a privately owned department store that has a total of 16 stores across the southern states. The 2.3 billion dollar company was recently bought out by Sycamore Partners out of NYC, but continued to keep Belk as the official company name.
