Introduction
Café Sunny, which is the first social enterprise restaurant which is run by Po Leung Kok and is funded by “Enhancing Self-Reliance Through District Partnership Programme”, locate in “Tin Ching Amenity and Community, Tin Shui Wai”. Café Sunny wants to hire disabled people, low-income people and housewives who come from the community of Tin Shui Wai, and provide them with catering training so that they can learn some skill (“Sharing of service”, 2011). From my point of view, I think café Sunny doing excellent in some perspective, and there is some perspective Café Sunny has to improve. In this paper, first, I will evaluate whether Café Sunny has done well in the perspective of the social model. Then, I will

Café Sunny has hired nine people including disabled people, low- income people and ex- mentally ill person. The Café Sunny plan to hire some community underprivileged housewives from the Tin Shui Wai Community (“Case sharing”, n.d.). I believe there are some Hong Kong citizens discriminate disable people and ex-mentally ill persons for their working ability. That is the common problem in Hong Kong society. Although the size of Café Sunny is not greater as Café De Coral, however, Café Sunny can provide opportunities for disabled people, low- income people and ex- mentally ill person so that they could learn some skills to make a living. If underprivileged people can do the best as normal people, that could encourage more and more people to found social enterprise for helping those underprivileged people. For example, when I visited Café Sunny, I discovered that there is a lot of positive comment for the Café Sunny including its customer service and the food. That could reflect that the social enterprise restaurant could do as excellent as those common restaurant, and the customer's positive comment could prove that no matter people who are disabled, low-income or ex-mentally ill, they could have excellent working performance. The above quality of Café Sunny could encourage more and more people founding social enterprise to provide more chance for disabled people, low- income people and ex- mentally ill …show more content…
For example, when I visited Café Sunny, I chat with one of the staff at Café Sunny. They said that the majority of customers who often visit Café Sunny is Tin Shui Wai community people From the staff’s words, we could know that the promotion of reputation of Café Sunny is not enough because there are too fewer people who come from other community. In the other side, that could reflect that Café Sunny level of promotion is low. Also, Café Sunny has not effectively utilized the online method to promote itself. For example, Café Sunny has not utilized an online platform such as Facebook and Youtube to promote itself. The online platform is an effective way to attract more people’s attention and promote the brand. If Café Sunny want to develop, it should pay more attention to promote its brand in the online platform so that it could be run for longer
On April 15, 2017 at approximately 1127 hours, I responded to Chic-Fil-A located at 80 Oxford Road in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival I observed a black male with no shirt on, carrying a backpack at the neighboring convenience store. I made contact with the subject and his girlfriend who identified themselves by name and D.O.B. as David C. Bishop 01/29/1997 and Jennifer L. Buchanan 03/04/1975. I immediately observed Bishop’s left hand was covered in blood at which time I asked him how he hurt his hand. Bishop stated that he had been arguing with his girlfriend after she nearly drove into another vehicle at which time he became upset at her, so he punched the window seal.
Panaderia Cuscatleca has their product in a Mexican newspaper and they keep it in their store, which won’t really promote their store if it’s always inside their store. They have business card that is plane with just blue letters say their bakery name and the contact number and store address, which it really plane. Beside those advertising they do go to charities events and festival to promote their bakery, but the problem is that the festival is located far from their store. Which is no really affected because why go to Panaderia Cuscatleca 8 or 12 miles away when they can go to the closes one near them. Panaderia Cuscatleca need to stand out of every other bakery by making their own logos stickers because who doesn’t love stickers and pass it around one by one, they should reward their customer by creating an award card for pass purchases and give out free sample because people are afraid to buy something they never eaten before, getting to know your customers and letting your customers knows about the bakery is how you attract
First of all, I would like to introduce what social justice means to me. Social justice doesn’t mean just equality, but justice or equity. Nobody is the same and some people need more help than others. For example, there is one person who is left handed and one right handed. There should be notebooks with the spiral on the left and some on the right, so they both can have an opportunity.

In Cariboo Café, Helena Maria Viramontes interpolates issues of government brutality, racial discrimination, and mistreatment of illegal immigrants through intertextuality. As an immigrant herself, she supports multiculturalism in her piece by bringing awareness to the issues associated with immigration, which remain unsolved. Viramontes switches between three different character’s perspectives, in a way that enables her to effectively manipulate the audience into feeling the emotions similar to that of an illegal immigrant who is trying to live their life in America. It is through these switches that we first feel confusion and frustration, as we are given little guidance on where we are in the story, or where the story is going to go, due

Australia is known as a country of freedom and fairness, however many groups such as youth, the unemployed, aged, and ethnic groups tend to become marginalised because of their minority status. Certain groups are marginalised because they are perceived as being different or undeserving of equality in society. This is called stereotyping and it leads to prejudice and discrimination. This essay explores three marginalised groups and discusses some of the reasons why they are marginalised and the effects on those within these groups. Exclusion from areas such as employment and other services and opportunities that other Australian 's take for granted, is a result of the marginality of indigenous Australian 's, woman, and those with
Disabilities- can be a factor to be abused, that can lead to social exclusion. Service users like Mrs. P who suffers from dementia can be exploited due to her illness. Some people with disabilities cannot be employed and also older people are not employed. Education- Because most of the service users are not educated, they’ll find it difficult to access information for their own use due to the lack of education and knowledge.
This observation was done at a local Starbucks. The main impact this had on my observation was that I am familiar with the culture of coffee shops, even if this one was new. I had a good understanding of who I would see and my perceptions of them based on this experience, as well as other cultural norms. For example, I mentioned the couples as likely being romantically involved if heterosexual, and same sex couples to be friends/ acquaintances/ work partners, due to my experience with heteronormativity, as well as the prominence of coffee shop dates and work meetings in my cultural understanding. I also assumed adult and child pairs to be parent and child due to my own experience (as well as the words “mom” or “dad” on occasion) as opposed to any actual knowledge of their relationship.
Because of these issues, society should develop better strategies to help these people in need to eliminate the growing poverty level through the world. These strategies could include
The owners of Sisig sought to be the pioneer Filipino food company by providing unique and memorable customer experience to its clientele. Winter was just around the corner. It was my first time in the biggest coffee shop in town. I could see the cheerful and brilliant lighting of the shop as I walked across the vast parking lot. There were tables outside the shop each with a brown vintage style umbrella. This particular coffee shop is not a cafe, it’s a coffee shop literally.
