The state of Caffinia is a blossoming new region that is home to a range of people. Ages of state residents range from infants to adults around the age of 30. The population of the state is around 3 million, and it’s size is closest to that of Iowa. The people of the state are modern thinking and acting people that are generally very involved with the politics of their state. Ethnicity in the state is very mixed as are the religions that are practiced, but the majority practice Buddhism or naturalism. Caffinia harbors many artists and musicians that live in the state. Many of them have been inspired by the state’s amazing people and landscapes. The state was discovered when a group of grad students stumbled across it during a routine research trip, and decided to begin new lives to avoid writing papers about their findings. Every year the state celebrates the founding Caffinia by floating biodegradable lanterns down the river that runs through the state’s capital. Caffinia’s natural resources include a thriving fishing industry and a naturally occurring black and silver flecked granite quarry which is one of their main exports. They are also famous for their high recycling rates and sustainable neighborhoods which are throughout the state due to the many eco friendly laws that have been passed. The states scientists focus heavily on solar and water power usage. Not much is wasted, and Caffinia is home to the #1 recycling plant in the United States. The state is also home to one of the most prestigious art institutes in the nation. It caters to almost 10,000 students working towards a design focused career. The institute is currently looking to expand to encompass other focuses such as language arts, business, and engineering
