Abstract: In our population there is a vast consumption of fast food in every age group .The main component in fast food that causes obesity is Ajinomoto. The insufficiency of vitamin D is correlated with obesity and metabolic disorder. For this reason our aim is to study the quantitative role of calcitriol in Ajinomoto induced rats
Objective: to design fast food containing vitamin D for fast food junkie and also for vitamin D deficient population.
Introduction: obesity is unrestrained aggregation of fat that may undermine the physical fitness

SELECTED ANIMALS FOR RESEARCH:
For this research Rats(120-200 g, body weight) are chosen, they are retained in zoological dwelling with 12:12 luminosity, aphotic period at 26+ 2 degree C .they will be held in isolated plastic enclosure consists of antiseptic paddy rind as sheet substance.
2.ESTIMATION OF AJINOMOTO DOSAGE:
Ajinomoto is attained as crystals; Dissolve 250g of Ajinomoto in 500 ml saline for making stock solution. Animal body weight is important factor for dosage estimation (5g/kg) the estimated dosage of Ajinomoto is induced by oral gavage.
3.Estimation of calcitriol dosage:
Calcitriol is a synthetic vitamin D, analog which is active in the regulation of absorption of calcium from the GIT and its utilization in the body. It is mostly available as capsule. 1 mg/mL of Calcitriol (1, 25-dihydroxycholecaliferol) ampoules manufactured by pharmaceuticals Ltd are mixed in normal saline to result in a concentration of 0.06 mg/mL. As per the body weight of rats, dosage will be calculated. Calcitriol will be administered through oral gavages (0.2 mg/kg bodyweight).
4. Animal grouping: In our study, the animals were divided into three groups:
Group I - the control group
Group ll -the group which receives only

Many of us enjoy fast food restaurants because they are quick, cheap and the food is appeasing to our taste buds. It would be very hard for many of us to turn down junk food for veggies. In the article, How Junk Food Can End Obesity, David H. Freedman presents, “Demonizing processed food may be dooming many to obesity and disease. Could embracing the drive-thru make us all healthier?” Freedman believes in the process of making prepackaged foods healthier.
Zinczenko states that some fast food restaurants do provide nutritional information but they are hard to understand and the alternatives offered by fast food industries are not healthy meals a person should being eating daily (242). The argument that Zinczenko constructs about the alternatives containing “half of the government’s recommended daily calorie intake” could be valid (243). However, the essay was published in 2002 and there are many healthier alternatives provided by fast food companies today such as healthy salads, deli wraps and variety of juices. Nevertheless, I understand the author’s point about fast food restaurants and it is important that they supply the nutritional values on items because some people may not realize the contents that they are
Amidst of hassles and struggles of our modern day, we are unable to eat healthy meals. Actually, many people do not even have time to prepare meals. Yet, our bodies still need sufficient amounts of various food groups for them to remain healthy. It is for this reasons that many people have turned to buying nutritional supplements. This way, one can still have their health in check even when they are running against time and on tight schedules.
The Truth of Obesity Fast food has been around for decades and it is an industry which will continue to grow, it is because of this main reason why so many Americans are now obese. Along with the lack of education and knowledge that many Americans are decrease their life span. However, obesity has never been such a vast problem as it stands today with its large population of uneducated and fast food hungry Americans. With this massive epidemic that is taking over America, comes many health issues and its targets begin with the children who become addicted to unhealthy but satisfying meals suffering from overweight, high cholesterol, and blood pressure to name a few.
It plays a primary role in calcium absorption and metabolism for bone health. The role of Vitamin D is extremely important because during pregnancy, bones develop fast, as well as the fact that skin pigment in women is much less than that of men’s (Grant and Holick). When a woman does not contain a sufficient amount of Vitamin D, the infant can be born with low birth weights and develop bone and other growth deformities. This reduces the risk of developing Multiple Sclerosis, or MS, as well as treating its symptoms (Grant and Holick).
When obesity comes into a conversation, most people bring the attention toward fast food. Americans target fast food as the main reason why obesity has become so out of control. The high amounts of fat, cholesterol, sugars, and salts in fast food raises the amount of calories contained. When people consume fast food, most don’t think about the amount of calories that they’re about to put in their system. In most meals at fast food restaurants the max amount of calories is enough to cover for the amount of calories people should consume in one day.
Over 25% of American’s have come to rely on fast food on a daily basis (Palo Alto Medical Foundation). The efficient service, low prices, easy access, and casual atmosphere of fast food seems to be considered the ideal “all-American” choice. However, Fast food, contains more fat calories, sugar and sodium
In the article “How Junk Food Can End Obesity”, David Freedman talks about the processed food’s role in American obesity. He think processed foods should not be consider as one simple problem. And processed foods are not the only reason which cause Obesity. Freedman came up his argument with two event of his experiences with foods which were unprocessed fruits and vegetables.
(Morgan Spurlock, 2004). Today, approximately 35% of the 20 years old and over are considered overweight and this scourge is visible on children too and more than 10% of adults in the world are considered as obese. At the head of this globalized trouble, America, birth place of fast foods. This major worldwide drawback is infecting more and more people every day, provoking
The first heard of the movie "Fast Food Nations" in 8th grade when my I found out my classmate had recently gone vegan after watching this particular movie. I thought nothing of it at the time due to her poor explanation as to what it was about and figured I would watch it at a later time. Now a half a decade later it seems I finally ended up watching this unscrupulous film. As I state that I wish to make it clear that it was successful in hitting it 's mark with informing the viewers of this film.
NCOA BACKGROUND PAPER ON SUSTENANCE AND HEALTH 1. Who wants a whopper? Obesity affects close to 35% of all Americans leading to 216,000 deaths annually compared to Japan where obesity affects 3.2%1. Will you be one? This is why I find it imperative that I write about how I believe fast food is a contributing factor of obesity in America and the Health issues that come along with being obese.
Detrimental health issues or health problems such as heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure and diabetes etc.… are prevented with the proper diet and nutrients. The American standard diet includes fast foods, large portions, and high-fat foods. When it comes to cravings, burgers, fries, pizza, sweets, and soft drinks are American’s weakness especially for busy parents, busy adults, and late nights. However the American diet wasn’t always dominated by burgers, chicken nuggets, fries, pizza, soft drinks and sweets (Liebman, 2010). With these detrimental health issues being preventable we have to start changing now for a better futures.
The factors such as consuming healthy and obesity have also been a prospect for food chains like Arby’s, which is offering the fresh and customized flavours in sandwiches away from the classic junk foods like burgers/fries and others. Fast food trends change built on what customers want. As said above, through this analysis, healthiness is the emphasis in many countries. This is not only suggested by governmental authorities, but also consumers. Nowadays, there is a growth in in organic and foods as regimes and lifestyle variations come into play.
Dr Adobe Wright, PhD, a professor of the University of California, states that fast foods do not contain the necessary nutrients as a well balance does. He also stated, that this type of food, fast food, contain nutrients high in some nutrient content, but other nutrients such as: protein, vitamins, etc., are absent. The professor also said that children do need these nutrients. He went on to say that these foods do not fulfil the requirements of the body and sometimes cause disorder.
The research carried out by health food guide, discovered about the percent of the number of obese children in America increase base on the result of the fast food outcome. Not including the children at risk for obesity, the statistics show that between 10% and 15% of children are already obese nowadays.(Fast Food Effects On Childhood Obesity) b) According to Elisa
