But anyone has ever thought what exactly is the process of taking a photograph or how a camera helps to take a photograph? Let me simplify it; how we see an object we know that light is everywhere and the light reflects the object (its shape, colour, size)and you see the object. If you think very critically then you will find that every object whatever we see absorbs light and that light is reflected to our eyes and captured in our brain so we able to see objects around us and thus we …show more content…

For professional photography and videography, we only need to understand and concentrate more on DSLRs and video cameras. Before going into more details on camera, I want to give a simple understanding of the Sensor which is most crucial part of a camera. The sensor detects the signal or information and passes. The sensor in a camera is like the retina of our eye it absorbs the light from the object and sense it. Similarly, a sensor in camera absorbs light of the image and pass it to us in an electromagnetic wave as image. CMOS (Complementary metal oxide sensor) is the modern high technology sensors widely use in DSLRs and video cameras. The standard size of the sensor is 36mmX24mm this is also known as full frame format mostly used for photography stills this is also known as full frame size equal to the width of 35mm film. Video cameras have the super35 sensor, this is mainly known as the motion picture film format. The film size of super35 is approximately 24.89mmX13.45mm, but the effective sensor of one camera brand or series may differ from other brand and series. Film-makers use this type of sensors mainly to maintain the same look of cinema at the
