In the beginning of the story the lion was scared of how the cockerel would crow every morning and he would cry “go away” till he would go but the cockerel would not go. The lion set out to see if any other animals were scared of the cockerel, but none where. Then he asked elephant and not surprising he said no,but he had something that scared him a tiny gnat. That shows that even though your big and strong you will have many obstacles in your life.
This can all have a great impact onto a owner’s health, especially if s/he is not properly informed. Besides many vaccines are going to be needed if you are planning on living a life with these types of animals. An extract from ”Do you Really Want A Baby Tiger?” written by MIa lewis affirms that, “It’s not just big cats, poisonous snakes, and chimpanzees that can be harmful—even smaller exotic pets can cause serious injuries. Exotic pets can also spread diseases to humans. In addition, many exotic pets end up on the loose in the wild.
Fostering animals, why should anyone do it? The short answer is that it will save lives. To expand, animal shelters all around the United States have suffered from overcrowding at one point or another in their business. When that occurs, they have two options: either turn away the new animals being dropped off at their doorstep or euthanize those who have been in the system for “too long”. When you choose to foster, you’re assisting in both traumatic issues.
Many koalas are scared that they will be harmed by humans. Koalas know that they are endangered, and that their days are numbered. Steve Irwin stated that “ I have no fear of losing my life, if I have to save a koala I will,” exclaimed Irwin. Steve Irwin was an Australian Zookeeper, and known worldwide. Irwin starred in a television show called Crocodile hunters.
Horton Hatches the Egg “I mean what I said and I said what I meant… An elephant’s faithful One hundred per cent!” (Seuss 11) . Going through a terrible storm, a frosty winter, humiliated by his friends, and sent to a circus- despite the disastrous circumstances he encountered, just as he promised, Horton the elephant protected Mayzie the bird’s egg. Horton Hatches the Egg by Dr.Seuss is widely read aloud by parents and teachers, for its important qualities of faith and patience it displays. However, among nuclear families with adopted children, it may be controversial of whether the book is to be read to their children or not, for the story creates a strong sense of connection to the topic of adoption. The story starts off with Mayzie, a lazy bird, complaining of how weary she is, having to stay at her nest all day to warm her egg up.
For instance “Polio is terrifying . It was even more frightening before a vaccine to prevent, it became available in the 1955. Those affected by the virus experience crippling in the arms and legs and even paralysis of the muscle of there respiratory system. Polio affected children more than adults and even today, there is no cure. Polio researchers had tested their vaccine on more than 9,ooo monkeys and 120 chimpanzees..” As you can see polio is a very alarming disease.
When Travis, Eckels, and the other men first arrive in the past Travis is warning them of the consequences that could come if they step off the path and enter the jungle. Travis believes that killing even one mouse would change the future (Bradbury 140). Eckles, however, needed to be convinced. Travis explained that if one mouse died, all the future generations of that mouse would die, which would lead to all the animals who ate those mice to possibly die as well (Bradbury 140). Travis was successful in convincing Eckles, however, when the meet the dinosaur Eckles loses control of his actions and leaves the path.
Humans are the cause for almost all of the animals who have gone extinct, but yet other people don’t want to help save them? From 1970 to 2012 our animal population has dropped by 58%. That my friends is why we need wildlife conservations. Think of all the animals being poached, such as tigers, rhinos, and whales and then tell me you don’t feel bad, because you don’t want to save them. People who argue against conservations, saying they don’t work are full of crap.
The elephant didn’t know any better. Same with other dangerous species, for example tigers. They are wild animals that you can have as pets, but I wouldn’t advise it. They attack humans because they want a challenge and pose them as a threat. That’s why they say you shouldn’t show too much skin, especially around the neck
"Will he do, do you think? It is all very well for Gandalf to talk about this hobbit being fierce, but one shriek like that in a moment of excitement would be enough to wake the dragons and all of his relatives, and kill the lot of us. I think it sounded more like fright than excitement! In fact, if it had not been for the sign on the door, I should have been sure we had come to the wrong house. As soon as I clapped eyes on the little fellow bobbing and puffing on the mat , I had my doubts.
The repeated warning “Stay on the Path” could be interpreted as our moral compass. In the story, “The Sound of Thunder”, Eckels was instructed over and over again to “Stay on the Path”, because stepping off the path would lead to many consequences that were detrimental to the world. When Eckels finally spotted the dinosaur, he was so frightened that he stepped off the path. When the safari trip was over they realized that things were different in their office. They then discovered that because Eckels did not stay on the path he killed a butterfly, which ended up altering the world.
Another time at school, Ralph was forced to ride a hard-bucking donkey, was sent flying off, and skinned his face. These were avoidable painful experiences. The Moodys shouldn 't have moved because of the sad things that happened while in Colorado, the close calls Ralph would have, and the painful things that happened to Ralph and his family. This move greatly affected the Moody family, because if they stayed in New Hampshire, many tragedies could have
This shows it is dangerous to transport these animals. Many deaths of elephants occur in the circuses. Ringling Bros. was charged with violations of the Animal Welfare Act after the circus forced Kenny, a three year old elephant, to perform even thought the animal was obviously sick. A veterinarian checking on the elephants that same day said he “should remain in the barn,” an hour after Kenny’s last performance, he passed away. Circus owners care about fame and fortune, not about the health of the
A video of what happened was uploaded to YouTube and went viral, the video was seen and criticised by many famous celebrities such as Ricky Gervais and Piers Morgan. President elect, Donald Trump also saw the video and said: "Its too bad there wasn 't another way." The event took place one day after the gorillas 17th birthday. Some people would argue that the zoo did the right thing in shooting Harambe but others would disagree and say the zoo should not have shot the gorilla. Some also see it as being the mother 's fault for not keeping a closer eye on her son and some see it as being nobody 's fault.
