The Bloody Benders were a murderous family living in southeast Kansas near the Osage trail; later being known as the Santa Fe trail. It was during the 1870 's when the benders had their occurrences with the locals and travelers of the southeast Kansas area. The family had a small home that was occupied with locals and travelers being located on the Santa Fe trail. They housed and fed anyone they could that was moving westward, then killed them when they least expected it. Taking their personal belongings and burying them in their apple orchard was a usual concept to the benders.
I attended the attraction Borealis a Holiday Cirque at Mystic Lake Casino, late November with my family. Borealis was conceived and directed by Fernando Quevedo of Q productions in Las Vegas. The all-new show follows the story of one person’s search for the perfect gift. The journey leads to Borealis, enchantress of the Northern Lights who- along with a cast of colorful characters- helps uncover the meaning of Christmas. The hologram system the productions used is second to non, the music was all original and epic in scale, and the performers are at the top of their league.

I believe the most important episode in the novel is “El Dorado.” El Dorado is a beautiful country, both naturally and manmade. It is a land of great wealth, and its citizens have everything they could possibly need or want. The citizens of El Dorado are unaware that they are the richest people in the world. Because its people value their “pebbles and mud” as materials and not as sources of power, it is a peaceful land.
Our goal this year is to be able to adopt two families to grant them the wish of “the perfect Christmas.” Our projects will be funded by sponsors or donations from the Winter Haven community. The two families who will be granted with this gift are located in Winter Haven, Florida and they must be in need.
Candyce, Good job defining what an arrest is. Very detailed on how an arrest is done with an arrest warrant and without a warrant. An arrest that is made without a warrant requires judicial determination within 48 hours. This process makes sure that and individually was not wrongfully arrested and deprived from their freedom.

The Siege of Tobruk and The Kokoda trail campaign were all part of WWII evolving Australia. However both wars were very significant to Australia seeing that countless Australian blood and soul’s were lost in the war. The Siege of Tobruk and The Kokoda Trail Campaign were both fought at different periods. The siege of Tobruk was fought during (April 10, 1941 – November 27, 1941) within Tobruk Port City Located on Libya's eastern Mediterranean. Whereas The Kokoda trail campaign was fought during (July 1942 – November 1942) and unlike the siege of Tobruk which was fought at a particular place the Kokoda battle was on a track that was made by Australian soldiers.
On the guided tour of the Freedom Trail, specifically the Allegiance to Revolution tour, the retelling of the American Revolution concentrating on the white, upper class male allows for a dramatization and limited perspective of American history. The tour, which traveled from Faneuil Hall, to Paul Revere’s home, and finally the Old North Church, focused on the events between 1774 and 1775 that led the New Englanders to switch from trying to remain loyal to Great Britain and wanting a revolution for freedom. Instead of providing a complete portrayal of the New England people and their involvement in the events leading up to the American Revolution, the tour guide mentioned only men, specifically highlighting those in high social classes and
When we think of Thanksgiving events that Primary Schools have, most of us think of children dressing up like Pilgrims and Native Americans and eating some sort of food. At Alhambra Primary, our first graders experience The First Thanksgiving as if they were actually a child at the event! On the last day of school the week of Thanksgiving, students participate in a “Thanksgiving Village” full of opportunities for learning! Approximately two weeks prior to the “Thanksgiving Village” experience, students are taken on a series of several “virtual field trips.” These 20 minute field trips are online videos that have a tour of a Mayflower replica, a visit to Plymouth Plantation in Massachusetts, and actual discussions with members of the Wampanog Tribe who are still alive today!
As the spirits of the holidays are around the corner, that means Christmas festivities are coming soon. In addition, there are many exciting new activities and events coming around as the year is ending. One of which is the Operation Christmas Child project that anyone can participate in. Chino Hills High’s CSF club has participated in the annual Operation Christmas Child Shoebox collections. The Operation Christmas Child is from Samaritan’s Purse, a non-denominational organization that accepts toys, toiletries, clothes, and school supplies to be given to kids.
Carl Deuker lives in Seattle. What inspired Carl to write the book Gym Candy was he wanted his readers to see through the eyes of a football star, he wants to show the readers that how the football star got into doing drug to be better at football. Also to show people the bad things and also show the punishments of you using the drugs gets you. The theme of this book is that “Drugs changes people”. The reason this theme fits this novel is because in this book there is a boy named Mick Johnson he wanted to be the best football player ever played.
After auditioning for my first professional show, I spent a week convincing myself that I wasn’t going to get the job and that, if I did, I wouldn’t be able to handle performing forty shows to 750 people every night. So, of course, when I landed a role in the show, I was terrified that I would make a fool of myself onstage, make no connections with my cast, and destroy my career in theatre before I even started. Nevertheless, I decided to face my fears and dedicate myself to the production so that I would grow as a performer and a person while creating art that preserved the culture of Calgary. “A Christmas Carol” at Theatre Calgary has been a fundamental part of Calgary’s culture for over twenty-five years, so my performance stakes were high.
In 1948, at the young age of 25, Charles Lazarus began with the idea of providing a store for the parents ' to get all their child 's wants and needs. The store has been well known tittle of Toys "R" Us about 10 years after the "Children 's Bảgain Town" was found in 1948 in Washington, D.C. Also the store had expanded to many different locations and was considered to be well established and a huge success amongst children 's stores. As for today, there are numerous different types of Toys "R" Us stores globally. Some stores have adopted the supermarket model format, which allows consumers to physically pick out the products at their convenience and pay for them at a registration area.
