Like other health practitioners, chiropractors are sometimes on their feet for long periods. All States and the District of Columbia regulate the practice of chiropractic and grant licenses to chiropractors who meet the educational and examination requirements established by the State. Newly licensed chiropractors can set up a new practice, purchase an established one, or enter into partnership with an established practitioner. Employment of chiropractors is expected to increase 14 percent between 2006 and 2016, faster than the average for all occupations. Self-employed chiropractors usually earn more than salaried chiropractors, although they must provide for their own health insurance and
Aspen Pointe is on of Colorado Springs largest nonprofit facilities that has been in existence for 140 years when it was called Springs Relief Society (Aspen Pointe, n.d.). Aspen Pointe provides behavioral health care to the community, the care ranges from mental health and substance abuse services to career and education enhancement programs for individuals and families (Aspen Pointe, n.d.). Aspen Pointe not only provides behavioral health care, but they also have a catering service and Aspen Pointe Café in the building where the El Paso County Department of Human Services is (Aspen Pointe, n.d.). One of the theories that I see being used is bureaucracy, Aspen Pointe is a very structured organization that is all about their clients and their employees are there for the clients and not for personal gain.
I would respectfully ask that you would consider me as a candidate for the position of Executive Director of the Rauner Family and West Communities YMCA. For the past 20 years, I have spent a great deal of time in leadership and executive management in several nonprofit and foundation roles and have gained a significant depth of knowledge and experience in community development, execution of a strategic board engagement and development, and philanthropic models that serve diverse communities. I believe that as a nonprofit executive with a combined depth and breadth of understanding in mass communications and philanthropy, I am also uniquely able to thrive and navigate in the most complex nonprofit, corporate and government environments you describe for this position.

Having worked in the Emergency Room for several years and now on 4C Surgical Unit, I have gained first hand experience in providing care to very sick patients and having critical care experience. I was nominated for a DAISY Award by the Vice President of Nursing for the Emergency Room. I would like to be a council member for the quality and safety council. I believe an integral aspect of providing quality care at the bedside, is being knowledgeable on information that can promote excellent patient care. I am empowered to help make a positive impact, working with my fellow colleagues to implement great improvements to patient care.
For DoD, Air Force Combat Control Teams and the Air Force Contingency Response Group (CRG) had an immediate impact on force and aid flow. These first responders quickly enhanced the Port Au Prince airfield capability from around 35 to over 200 flights per day. Taking advantage of learned practices, Canada deployed its Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART), a joint, modularized military unit task suited for quick deployment to stricken areas. An immediate response unit, it deployed within 24 hours with engineers, logisticians, security and medical personnel, quickly assisting with the international relief efforts. The concepts of easily transportable and trained disaster relief teams were crucial to the joint responses by the U.S. DoD and Canadian Department of National Defence
