In middle school, students are starting to learn about themselves and the world around them. The factors of how they were raised contribute to their experience throughout life. Each culture has different views they are design to follow based on their heritage which affects whom they associate themselves throughout middle school where they are being to identify themselves. While they are identifying themselves they are comparing new music, trends, and personal experiences, but unless a student is introduce to other cultures in an early age, they tend to not seek the understanding of other cultures. Therefore, the ‘diversity activity’ will help students understand the difference of other cultures and social identity through small group conversation.

Vision and Opportunity: Career/ Educational goals and purpose Having a personal plan for the future helps us in having a clear path to follow toward achieving our goals. Regarding this, I have written the goals that I want them to be achieved after graduating from the college. To write my goals, I have brainstormed my thoughts about my interest areas which helped me on deciding which goals I want to achieve. The first goal is being a professional psychologist as I spend a lot of my time reading about psychology and how people problems can be solved in a psychological way. I want to achieve this goal because I believe it will help in solving a lot of people problems in a way where they can be comfortable to talk and share their conditions.
Situational Analysis An educator is a lifelong learner. They do not just expect their students to be lifelong learners, but they to stay current and on top of what’s new in education. Even though they may still use the same lesson plan for years before, they know how to change it to keep up-to-date with what is current. A great educator knows gender differences. Evidence has emerged that students’ achievement levels are much influenced by the school environment and, in particular, the daily management and organisational procedures of schools which are frequently reliant on gender as a management tool.
