In particular, after the current owners Haifa and Nourah inherited the venture Al Nawaf from their father, they failed to incorporate proper career planning methodologies and instruments. However, Haifa is cognizant of the need to develop the career development program that will adhere to the Saudization concept. The goal of the planning program is to equip new employees with the ethos governing the firm. Additionally, it must align the human resource department with the aspirations of the legal dispensation, company ideals, industry standards, and individual career goals. Many factors, including education, skill, salaries, job duties, job benefits and job drawbacks will help you choose between the multitudinous numbers of careers in the healthcare world. While researching, I found that Endocrinologist, Phlebotomist, and Dental Hygienist were all excellent careers that met positive results for all of the factors listed above. Endocrinology is the career that requires the most schooling and training, but it is also the one that I think will be the most enjoyable because I have a great love for biological sciences, and there is a lot of biology required in this career path. I also chose this career because it will allow me to help other kids and adults that may have turner syndrome or other disorders of the endocrine system, so I will find it very relatable and will already have some experience with the issues and concerns the patients may have.
Board members participated in a strategic plan development process in January 2014. It included a review of the board’s vision of the program and the priorities set to meet the program’s needs for the next four years. Theoretical assumptions: People used to see career counselling as making a decision in regard to which career path to follow after having one or two meetings with a career counsellor (Krumboltz, Foley & Cotter, 2013). According to Hall (2004) this few has changed over the past two decades and it is clear that career development is not a onetime choice but rather a lifelong process. Savickas (2012) argues that the form of career intervention must change just like the form of work changes to reflect the labor needs of the twenty-first century.
