Introduction In 1956, George Jepson and his significant other Nan established Galaxy Toys through an inspiration by their son Rusty. Nan and Rusty had an enthusiastic notion of traveling to the moon, therefore; the founders started a business in making galaxy toys for their child and other children to enjoy. Jepson who had previous experiences for a company that advertised games in Toledo, Ohio enabled George to learn manufacturing, selling, and advertisement as well as creating a new spacecraft toy. He created a toy through heavy steel parts and ponderosa pine. The toy was resisted in splintering and held up well during heavy use, however
they needed to sell the product to consumers. Nan whom was employed in retail toy sales had suggested that the spacecraft be publicized and sold at her department store. Once the product was put on the shelf it had successful sales, which lead to Jepson in to manufacturing eight other toys. In the1960’s Galaxy mass-produced 39 toys that that incorporated in plastics instead of heavy steel parts and ponderosa pine used before. This style that Aldrin had embraced was from the school of thought Classical Theory of Administrative Management. The theory focused on the management procedures and standards of administration through five principles such as planning, organizing, commanding, coordinating, and controlling (Reference for Business, 2017).
