Anna Lehmann of Forest City, is a member of the Forrest City Everreadies 4-H club. The garment she chose to create is a purple knit skirt. Anna loves the color purple as it is a sign of royalty and therefore helps to create a classy semi-formal outfit. Other formal design elements of the skirt include a side slit and diagonal seam running from her hip to lower thigh on the front and back of the skirt. Anna learned to enjoy sewing knit fabric and the many challenges that knit fabric presents.

Copeland soon began working in nonprofits after graduating from University of California Los Angeles because of her passion to work with and for people. Introduction Andrea C. has come to counseling as a result of a vicious physical and sexual assault that occurred at her workplace. Her presenting symptoms, in correlation with the violent nature of the trauma she experienced, indicate an early diagnosis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Peter-Hagene and Ullman (2015) correlated the severity of PTSD with the severity of violence during the attack. Furthermore, based on her reported symptomology, Andrea is also meeting criteria for a comorbid diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). This summary will discuss the clinical diagnosis and rationale for each diagnosis.

Brennan and of the confidential nature and purpose of the interview, Turlip, provided the following information: Turlip worked as in private practice from 2000 until 2005 when she ran for judge. She took office in January 2006 and was reelected in 2012 and her term run until 2018. Turlip recalled the Donna Smargiassi case. She knew Donna and her sister and parents from the area just like she knows Lili Vioncek-Clark and her family. Clark and Turlip have been friends for approximately 5 years.

Rosa M. has had behavioral issues all her life and has been in and out of her mother’s home. Rosa M. and her boyfriend smoke weed and have domestic disputes while the children are present, Malcolm has failed third grade several times, and he’s been in and out of different schools several times. Rosa M. has threatened Malcolm in the past if he doesn’t do things she wants him to do. There are people in and out of the home often and the mother’s boyfriend has a violent history and was recently released from jail. Christian has balled his fist up in a threatening manner at Malcolm in the past when he witnessed Christian stealing money from his mother’s purse.
Melissa Perez, a hispanic high school student, was a student that did not attend school regularly. She would only go to school for third period and fourth because that is when they marked students for attendance for the whole day. That is until she had her baby that she decided she needed to graduate from high school. Melissa was also the first person in her family to graduate from high school (Ted). Students like Melissa across the nation have been graduating more than ever.

The reporting party (RP) on observed a brown, scabbed linear mark approximately 1/2 inch wide and 2 1/2 inches long on foster child Royalty Becker 's right arm. Royalty informed another teacher named Gloria Gilbert he was burned by the iron at home. The foster child stated "it made a bubble." Consequently Royalty could not provide any additional information. The RP contacted the foster mother Monique Reeves and informed her of the injury.
Reading Alejandra Mattoni's story was extremely frustrating. She was sure she wanted her tubes tied, yet doctors didn’t take her seriously for 13 years. Why does our society insist on controlling women's bodies? We have talked about fertility in the context of other topics such as marriage and intersex and transgender individuals, and there seems to be an obsession with fertility and concern with people's desire to have children. Why are we so obsessed with fertility and more specifically, with women's fertility?
Katherine Knight 1 OVERVIEW OF THE CRIME On February 29th of 2000, after finally getting fed up with the constant assaults he endured from his partner; Katherine Knight, John price went to the Scone Magistrates court to take out an apprehended violence order (AVO) against Katherine, in a hope to keep her away from his kids and himself once and for all. Later that night, an unknowing Katherine Knight turned up to John Price’s house and they went on to have sexual intercourse. After this, Knight stabbed Price in his sleep, resulting in Price attempting to run away down the hall, this, however was an unsuccessful attempt and knight ended up stabbing him at-least a further 36 times.
Through the perspectives of sociological criminology and psychiatric criminology, Andrea Yates crimes will be thoroughly explained. In 2002, she was initially charged and found guilty in the death of three her children; the crown did not try her on all five counts (Lezon, 2006, para. 3). In 2006, a jury in an appellate court the initial decision was reversed and Yates was not guilty by reason of insanity (CNN Library, 2016, para 1). Sociological criminology analyzes factors that include: race, gender, age, socio-economic status, and religion (Bartol, Bartol, 2016, p.7). This paper will specifically explain Yates crimes through a sociological lens accounting for various factors.
