Amazon (Amazon.com) is the world’s largest online distributor and an outstanding cloud services supplier. It is headquartered in Settle, Washington. First of all, it had been originally a bookseller but has distended to sell a large form of commodity and digital media along with its own electronic devices, like the Kindle e-book reader, Kindle Fire tablet and more. Amazon.com has many of subsidiaries such as Brilliance Audio and Shelfari which the former is an audio publisher and the latter is social cataloguing website for books. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is also included in its subsidiaries.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) was formally launched in 2006 yet it already having ten years of expertise within the field of cloud computing services. It provides a group of cloud-computing services that structure an on-demand computing platform. There are many IT infrastructure services is provided by AWS to businesses in the form of web services but now’s typically recognized as cloud computing. Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud is the cloud computing service that provides a virtual computing environment for the customers inside the cloud. The virtual computing environment in the Amazon Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) is known as the instance. There are many different instance type inside the Amazon EC2 such as General purpose, Compute optimized, Memory optimized, Storage optimized and Accelerating optimized. Each instance type is designed for different specific purpose and offers different compute, memory and storage capabilities. Users can select different type of instance based on their requirements of the software and application that they plan to run on
