Mr. Sonu Shivdasani an Indian origin and Mrs. Eva Shivdasani, wife of Mr. Shivdasani leased an island in Maldives after their studies in Oxford University. They fell in love with the Maldives in 1990. After a considerable amount of Soneva Fushi become the first 'castaway ' resort in the Maldives and has created a trend for back-to-nature luxury holidays.
Today the Soneva’s stand unique in their segment with many imitators. Soneva in Aqua impresses by 'remote but accessible ' locations with natural beauty, easy accommodation, amazing food and everlasting memorable activities.
Milestones Achieved
Over a period Soneva established highly reputed international business, which enabled them to open Soneva Kiri at Koh Kood, island of Thailand in 2009.
