St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is considered a global leader with a high standard Code of Conduct. They apply the code daily to every decision that must be made. The code applies to all employees, contract staff, vendors, trainees, students, volunteers, and board members. St. Jude’s mission is to advance cures for diseases through research and treatment. Race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay would never affect the hospital’s decision to treat a child. Ethical behavior is major in accomplishing the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They believe that reputation plays a big role in running a successful hospital.
